Looking for New OB in McKinney

I can't recommend highly enough Dr. Gerald Luciani at AMS Women's care. He really took time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and make sure I always felt comfortable. Just an example from the day my DD was born last spring: my water broke and we called the practice on the way to the hospital. His partner, Dr. Sandman, was on call, and called the hospital just as we got there, saying he would come. 20 minutes later my husband's cell phone rang--it was Dr. Luciani calling to tell us he was on his way personally. At 4:30am, it became clear that I needed a C-section, and Dr. Luciani asked which of his partners I knew. I told him that Dr. Sadler was the only other one I'd met, so he called and woke her up and had her come assist, even though she wasn't on call, just so I could have my baby delivered by someone I knew!

His office staff and nurses are great, too. I had gestational diabetes, and his nurses sat down with me and taught me how to test my blood sugar and made sure I understood everything. Everyone there is great!

I understand not wanting to travel very far but I have an incredible OB/GYN at Presby Plano. I had a very very complicated pregnancy which included hospitalization for 6 weeks and he was wonderful. He always returns his phone calls the same day himself and calls you himself with lab results. He is very personable. His name is Garret Garner with Northlake OBGYN. I know its a bit of a drive but was well worth it for me. Good luck!

I like Craig Ranch OB/GYN. They were very friendly and are just north of Custer on 121 (near the Target and New Lowes)

Dr Shimer is incredible--and she is in Mckinney!! She delivered my second child, and I've been seeing her for almost 3 years. She is very sweet and patient. I cannot say enough good things about her!!
