*****Forgot to mention: We live in the Springfield Area******Willing to Travel for GREAT doctors!!!!

Hello All! What an awesome site. My husband and I are in desperate need of primary care physicians. I prefer a Female Dr. and Him a Male. We are new to the area and would like some recommendations instead of randomly choosing (basically blind-folded). My husband is also Type II diabetic and would like a doctor with a little more experience with diabetes (but he doesn't need to see an endocrinologist). I also need a really good OB/GYN doctor; we possibly might still be in this area when we want to start trying for child number two!!! Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

Where in SJ are you? My Ob is in Collingswood (Dr. Parrish) and they are wonderful!

hi, i live in secane but i previously lived in philadelphia. i chose jefferson university hospital for general practice/obgyn/pediatricial. i have been with them for 3 years and really love them.they are very thorough, take the time to make sure you are comfortable and have all your questions answered. my boyfriend just switched to them as well. the pediatricians also are incredible! my daughter even gets a nice book every time she goes. they give you printout of your visit and everything that was covered also.

i definitely highly reccommend them. there are lots of docs to choose from so you should have no problem finding what you are looking for. they are located right in center city philadelphia(i work in philly so it is easy for me).

good luck whomever you choose!

had to delete my response because i had responded with a great pediatrician, not an adult primary care physician. sorry.

I use the Professional Women's Health Group, doctors Sanders, Parrott, and Kolowski as my OB/GYN, they are amazing. I just had a baby in July, and I, too, had relocated. They took me in at 30 weeks, and have been great. Both my husband and I have loved working with them. Dr. Parrott is also the Chief OB doc at Pennsylvania Hospital, so he is well received there.
