Hey all! I'm looking for an auto repair shop in San Diego area (Clairemont would be great) that won't give me the shaft. I have had mechanics that overcharged me, and I just want to get tune-ups and maintenance in a good shop. My little car just needs to be able to go! thanks
Convoy auto repair is honest, trustworthy, and reliable. My parents and I have been going there for years. Plus they are AAA approved, which is always something you want to make sure an auto repair shop is.
What kind of car do you have?? I know a good mechanic for german cars, and another for Toyota/hyundi/lexus (although I have to check if he's still working at his shop).
BUT--they're not in clairemont
I would recommend T&L Auto Repair on Morena Blvd. They are asian guys,all very nice. My mom, my sister, and I have been taking our cars there for years. If he tells you a price, then that is what is going to be. I have never felt shafted by these guys in all the years. For example I need to have a clutch replaced in my car, a clutch wanted to charge me in upwards of 700, they only charged me 250

###-###-#### It's right under the 5 underpass heading down the hill on Balboa/Garnet as you are heading towards pacific beach just after the Morena turnoff and just before the 5 South merge. It's tucked under the underpass on the right. We have an old 98 ford escort and use their services just to keep our car on the road. They never push us go get any extras and they are honest about what needs to be done, how much it will be and they are reliable about when it will be completed. Their costs are comparable with other places but they are more personal so i don't mind the 5$ more per hour in labor than other places. At least go there for an estimate... it can't hurt.
