We love Brakes USA in Rockwall. They are very honest and reliable.
Christian Brothers Automotive is a good place. My in laws use them on their cars.
I have used Executive Imports in Garland for the last 11 years and would not go anywhere else. They primarily work on Honda/Acura and once I found them never went back to the dealer. Tom is the owner and is extremely honest and trustworthy.
It's a shame, I just sold my Acura and so probably won't be back, but would love to pass on his good name.
I live in Mesquite but my husband is a very good mechanic and is very cheap. He has been doing mechanic work for 26 years and he dose light body work he's been doing body work for 4 years.

This place is on the far east side of Plano near Garland. Family owned by a guy named Al. They have saved us a fortune. We have taken 4 cars there and they have always done an excellent job. In fact, we have had expensive quotes elsewhere then took it here. They then told us what was really wrong which was often 100s less. I highly recommend them!
We have been very happy with Brakes USA in Rockwall on Goliad. They are small, honest and do good work.

We have used Superior Auto Repair in Garland at Crist Rd and Hwy. 78. The shop is owned by a young couple. She works the office, and he does the work. They are honest, hard working, and will not overcharge you. They can repair your air conditioning unit. We have used them six years. Tell them M. sent you. Good luck.

Jim's Car Care in Garland (by Centerville and NW Highway) is excellent. My MIL has been going there for over 20 years, and I always take my car there when I need to. They are reasonable and honest. Once, I took my truck there to get the muffler fixed, and they said that they could do it, but they recommended another place down the street that could do it cheaper. Another time, I thought I was having transmission problems, but it turned out it was just a belt, and that saved me a lot of money. I've never had a problem with them at all. My .02 cents.
