ginazeidler.com is amazing. We just had our 2yr photos taken. She's not the make them pose type of photographer. She's all about letting them play and capturing the moment.
I would like to find a photographer to take pictures of my son that is about to be 2. He doesn't really like getting his picture taken, so they have to be good with kids. Since I don't think I want the session in my house or outside (it will be done in early Dec), they should have a studio of their own. I would rather they be somewhat reasonably priced and I would like to be able to get a CD of the images. Also, we live in Plymouth, so NW metro locations are best, but I'm open to travel for the right photographer.
Thanks in advance!

Clix! Portrait studio in Maple Grove does great work with kids. Their studio is very nice and their pictures turn out great. They are located in The Fountains part of Arbor Lakes.
Well..this gals does location shoots and alot of outdoors, so maybe not what you want, but she is great and captures those casual moments. My daughter had her senior pictures done recently by her, and I have a former daycare client who has done 3 years worth of shoots. They are not so posed like..formal...but casual. Look at her site to get a feel.
She does alot of weddings and families...new babies, all sorts of stuff.

Our deal was $200 and we get to keep the disc and can get pictures printed anywhere from them. She will also do them at a very very reasonable price! She was great t work with. She has 2 small children under age 2 of her own..so shes used to little ones!
I can't think of any private photographers, but if you are in a pinch you can call the JC Penney Studio at Ridgedale Mall and ask for Joanne. I'm not even sure if she's there anymore because we moved away a year ago, but my son is also really resistant to getting his picture taken and (for his 2 yr. pics) she got him moving and smiling, and almost all the pictures of him, and he and my daughter together, were really cute. He was so happy, he didn't want the session to end.
Hi E..
Not certain if you're willing to drive to 694 and 61, yet my girlfriend is a photographer and a good one.
If you contact her site-- anitajader.com- mention I referred you and you might get a better deal??
She does do CD's.
She's talented and volunteers for groups like the parents losing children, and more and she's taken my twins since birth- in other words she's comfortable and good taking child shots.
Check her out.
