I believe Jefferson Hospital has an integral medicine programs that works with a lot of cancer patients. I'm not sure if it's for low-income. They are located on 11th in Philadelphia. good luck.

Hi S.!

Welcome to PA and please accept my heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery. I will contact a friend of our family's who is very active with the ACS and who volunteers to visit breast cancer patients in the hospital to see if she is aware of any support groups, etc. I just wanted to let you know that someone had read your post and that although I don't have an immediate answer I'll try to find one for you. =) Best wishes, B.

I did a search on google and the following links is what it produced. Fox Chase Cancer Center is a wonderful facility and I'm sure they have programs and services for what you are looking for...

S.,

I'm not sure if I am the help you need, but I'd be happy to try and help you navigate the medical system. I am also new to Philadelphia, don't have breast cancer, but am a family doc. My mom was diagnosed twice, and while I don't know a whole bunch about the medical system here, I can "translate" things for you.
