Looking for an Open-minded Church in Austin

I'm looking for a church, sort of..... I've gone to different kinds of churches over the years, and been more and less committed. I miss having church in my life. BUT....I'm not even sure what I believe; let's just say I have a lot of doubts. II most recently went to a Unitarian church, and am considering that again. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a church in Austin, preferably North/Central, where I might feel comfortable.

What can I do next?

Hi M.,

Come try our church - Crossroads Community Church - we meet Sunday mornings at River Oaks Elementary near the corner of Scofield Ridge and Parmer, between MoPac and I-35. The website is www.crossroadschurchaustin.com. Check out the website for more info on things you may have concerns with.

Hope to see you there!

Definitely not a Unitarian church: Calvary Austin (actually in Pfluegerville) http://www.calvaryaustin.com/ if location is key for you. I go to Calvary South Austin (off Congress and Stassney, http://www.calvarysouthaustin.com/ ) which is a much smaller church and it's easier to get "plugged in." If you're not sure what you believe, you are more than welcome--encouraged!--to ask, ask, ask questions!

My church is awesome. I know that a lot of people say that, but it really is. They are not about converting people just helping bring people closer to God. No one forces doctrine down your throat, makes you feel bad, or judges you here.
Here is the website:

I like them because they accept you for who you are. Blue jeans and a T-shirt? Yup! Old sneakers, kids running around. We are in South Austin, but it's worth the drive.
We have two services, one at 9am and one at 11am. A between service service called The Buzz, where kids get to bring their parents to church, and a great children's ministry for ages 8 weeks through high school!

Hope you come!

Good Morning M.,

My name is Ms. Q. and I attend a Non-Denomination Church here in Austin called, the R.O.C.K. (Reflections of Christ Kindom) of Austin of course, I would love for you to visit and be in a relax atmosphere/environment. You can come as you are, no demanding dress codes, we have a loving warm hearted daycare and my Pastor breaks down what you don't understand about the word of God along with other members if you have questions. I think this would be a great opportunity not only for you but for me to introduce my self personally to you and just say thank you for worshiping with us at the R.O.C.K. (Reflections of Christ Kindom). Hope to see you soon and have a blessed day.

Ms. Q
