I can't remember the name of it, but there's a vintage bath fixture shop on Washington Avenue in downtown Minnie. It's kind of over by the Liquor Depot and you can find the specifics on it in the phone book.
I have a homemade kitchen playset that I'm going to give my daughter for her birthday. My husband's grandfather made it and it's super cute, but the faucet is just pvc pipe. I'm going to paint the set pink. I'd like to find an old faucet (probably a wet bar size) to put on it. It doesn't have to work. I don't have any idea where to find something like that. I'd prefer something kindof unique or pretty, but anything would do. Does anyone know where I could get something like this?

I would put a "want ad" on www.craigslist.com and also it would be a great place to look for one :)
The reuse center at Lake & Hiawatha in Minneapolis. This is probably the least expensive option, but the selection is not as reliable. http://www.thereusecenter.com/reusestore.html
Frank Plumbing Sales Co

Architectural Anitiques in Minneapolis www.archantiques.com
City Salvage www.citysalvage.com
Art & Architecture www.artandarch.com in Minneapolis on University just west of 280. If you go here you stop off for some treats at Cupcake in the same building.
Goodwill, Unique Thrift Stores, Valu Thrift Stores, Salvation Army, ARC, any of those places as well as the ReUse center mentioned on a previous response. Good luck with your project! (the thrift stores are also great places to get really nice used toys, if you want another piece of advice!)

You can find almost anything on Craigslist :)
What a great idea! Check out your local thrift shops, Salvation Army stores, or there's a used building supply store on West Broadway just West of 94 in Minneapolis, East of Lyndale. I've seen used faucets in a thrift shop in Newport as well as St.Paul Park.
Too bad we can't attach photos to these. I'd love to see the finished product!
