Looking for an OB GYN That Specializes in High Risk Pregnancies

Dr. Russell Burlison is wonderful. My first child was delivered by another doctor via emergency c-section after 18 hours of induced labor. He weighed in at 10 lbs 4 oz. When Dr. Burlison saw me for my second child and found out about my experience with my first, he was quick to reassure me. He and his staff are compassionate, caring people. He listens to his patients and believes we know our bodies better than any one. My triple screen tests came back abnormal with my second pregnancy, and Dr. Burlison was awesome. We had to have extra tests done to make sure our son was alright, and he and his staff were there the whole time. It was a difficult time for us, but they knew how to help. He has since delivered my third child, all three of mine were c-section, as well as my best friend's daughter by vaginal birth, and a coworker's daughter by c-section. The coworker and I both had our tubes tied with our last pregnancies, and he handled everything perfectly.

I don't really know about him specializing in high risk prgnancies, but my OB is Dr. Frederick Kinder at Willis Knighton South, and he is fantastic. Since you had problems in a previous pregnancy, He will be extra sensitive to that and do what is neccesary for you. He is a wonderful doctor and a really sweet person.
