Looking for an Internist in the NW Burbs

I am in need of an internist - hopefully a female, but I am flexible on this. I have several medical conditions (none too serious, but they all require different doctors) and I need someone who can work well with others. And I really need someone who can be up-to-date on my medications and refills.

We are looking for the area around Schaumburg, Elk Grove, Arlington Hgts, etc.

Any recommendations or names/practices to avoid would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Aggie

I really like my primary doctor. Her name is Monika Cohen. She belongs to a group practice called Affinity Healthcare. She's located in Buffalo Grove. The practice also has offices in Arlington Heights and Wheeling. Their website is www.affinitydocs.com. Good luck!

I recommend Dr. Phillip Kiley in Arlington Heights. Great doctor, very knowledgeable and very nice! He is about 40 years old.

I use Dr. Kara Nance, who is affiliated with NorthWest community hospital and has an office in Arlington Heights, just down the street from Buffalo Grove High School on Arlington Heights Road. She is pretty good, just don't use Lisa, not really a Dr. yet, but available for appt. I have not had good luck with her.

If you want to travel to glenview, i found a fabulous doctor, name is maria micholotti and she is at glenbrook hospital. I was really impressed with her calling me the instant my test results came in. It may be too far for you, but it is also nice if you need any tests you are right there in the hospital to have them all done. M.
