Hello,
We go to North Arlington Pediatrics on Arlington Hts Rd in Arlington Hts.
They have a good size practice, so there is always a doctor available,
even if your chosen one is on vacation, etc. Their nurses are also wonderful
and helpful in answering questions that you need to know answers to, but
don't want to bother a doctor or make an appointment for. They also have
an answering service. So, when your child is throwing up at midnight, a doctor
can be reached for consultation. They have 2 waiting rooms. One for healthy kids,
and another for sick kids. So, you don't have to expose your healthy kid
to germs when you are just there for a check-up. They also run pretty much on schedule
I have never had to wait more then 15 minutes (usually less) before seeing a doctor.
Did you know that before your baby is born, you can interview doctor's offices.
Most offices have a day set aside for a group of parents to come in, see the office,
make sure they except their insurance and meet at least one of the doctors and make
sure they are associated with the hospital you will be giving birth at.
That's how I decided on North Arlington Pediatrics. Call around and visit a few places.
Good Luck and Congratulations!
