Looking for a Work Out/weight Loss Buddy

Hi,

I am looking for someone who would be interested in a work out/weight loss buddy. I am a mom of 3 & I have put on some weight over the years. I have tried to get motivated to lose weight & exercise but I always seem to get off track. I would love to have someone that I could "report" to, just talk about my progress. You do not have to be in my area in Columbia, MD . We could send emails back & forth etc.
I just feel that maybe I would have better luck getting started & keep on going if I had someone out there that was on the same journey as me.
I have about 15-20 lbs to lose & just need some support, so if you are interested that would be wonderful-just let me know!!

Hi A.,

I recently (have been using it for a week and already down 5 lbs) found a caloriecounter.com and started counting calories. They make it so easy and it is great because I can eat whatever I want. They also have support groups online that you can join. You put in your height, weight, age, activity level, your target weight and your target date and they tell you how many calories to eat. Everyday you log your food and they store it for you. If yo ate something and don't know how many calories you can look it up. It's all free. I love it. Feel free to email me anytime.
BTW- I need to lose 50 lbs. I only have 6 more to go to be my pre pregnancy weight. The other 40 or so is to be where I would like to be.

I'm interested! I need to lose about 50 lbs. I have just found this website caloriecounter.com. I love it so far...just need support. I agree with Cindy B if we could form some kind of support group. I would love to. I am also looking to lose about 15 to 20 lbs.
I live in Minnesota and right now it is pretty hard to get out. What type of exercises do you like or tried?

Hi A.,
I would love to try and give you support toward your weight goal. I also would like to lose 15 or more pounds. It really is hard once you get past the 30 year mark and now having a baby I have no time for me. Maybe if I have someone holding me accountable I would be more motivated to at least watch what I eat more carefully and squeese in some excersize.

Are you still looking for an additional weight loss buddy? I live in Columbia, in Long Reach, and would love to join a group. I have the CA membership but really hate going by myself. My son (he's 8) has become my personal trainer. LOL. But I would love some company. Let me know if you are still interested.

Hi, A.! I am wanting to lose about 50 lbs. I put on weight after I had my son. I've stayed home with him the whole time and I always seem to eat when I'm bored or lonely. My husband works a lot and we have no family close, so I eat a lot. lol I'm trying to do better though. I'd like to be your work out buddy through email. I'd be interested! Maybe if there are a few of us we could form some kind of support group! I'm a homeschooling mom of 4, three of whom are grown or almost so and then a 5 year old. I'm a homemaker but I teach in a co-op in Columbia on Thursdays. I've been trying to lose weight for years!! I'd like to lose 30-40lbs over the course of a year or so. Hope to hear from you!
