My son's Catholic school just informed us that they are closing at the end of this school year. We planned on him being there until 3rd grade. Completely taken off gaurd, we don't know what to do first. We would like to find a private school in Hilliard, Arlington, Grandview or Clintonville. Our current budget maxes out at $340/month (we may be able to do up to $375/mo in the fall- we would be interested in financial aid if it was available). We are not Catholic, but feel religious education is a nice perk to a private education. Any suggestions, recommendations (where does your child attend?) or comments (like school open house info) would be helpful! Thank you!

What can I do next?

My oldest attends St. Brendan on Dublin Road. We have been happy with the education as well as the social outlets. The staff takes the time to get to know you and knows the children as well. My younger daughter will be attending kindgerten in the fall.

They will be having a open house on Janurary 15th.

Good luck and sorry to hear about your school closing. I went through that when I was in high school it's devasting.

ST BRENDAN'S School-- It is at the corner of Davidson and Dublin Rd.
I have 2 children in this school and 2 children who have gone on to Catholic High Schools. I really feel the atmosphere is different in a private school. The kids are taught to respect adults and to respect each other and respect themselves. God is at the center of all the values taught.
It is perfect timing on your part. There is an open house on Jan. 15th from 10:30-2:00. Come check us out!
We do offer financial aid.

I have heard great things from Clintonville Academy, but I really don't know how much they charge. Also, there's St. Brandon in Dublin Rd and St. Agatha in Upper Arlington; my little cousin goes to St. Agatha and I've only heard good things about it.

Hope it helps!
