Check out the breastfeeding resource centers at local hospitals. (Texas Health Resources) Harris Methodist HEB and Harris Methodist Fort Worth each have good ones with very helpful folks!
I am looking for a local place to buy a good nursing bra-- 34 DDD or 34 G?? Thanks for any recommendations! ____@____.com

Hi M.,
I'm a 38 E. I've always had really good luck at Nordstrom's. The pricing is about the same as you would pay elsewhere. The Maddox Shop over in Dallas is also really good. A couple of websites you can check out are:
http://www.bravissimo.com/perfectfit/
http://www.figleaves.com/us/home.asp
I discovered these after I bought my most recent nursing bra, so haven't had a chance to check them out. A friend of mine, who is a 38DDDD, told me she buys from those sights all the time.
Hope this helps!

I'm the same size in the first year of nursing. It is actually a very difficult size to find, b/c the rib size is so small and the cup large. It is a bit of a drive, but the best place I found was the Hillsboro outlet mall. The playtex store has a lot of very comfortable, easy to use nursing bras in a variety of sizes. They are affordable (I think $18). The last I checked Motherhood didn't carry that size.
sounds crazy, but my favorite have been from Walmart. They are soft cup, nursing/maternity bras. They are very supportive and have lasted just as long as my very expensive Medelas. They are about 11.00 each. That is about a 1/3 of what I paid for my Medelas on sale. I am a 38 dd, but they also have ddd. Good luck, A.
I was given this card

From the Motherhood store in ridgmar.
I am/was DDD and the cups are small. I have yet to go
as everytime I try, time runs out from doing other
errands.
The ones I liked the MOST came from Motherhood Maternity. They may seem a little pricey, but they are soooo worth it! I think I got mine on sale, so look for the sales, too! Good luck!
I bought my Medelas at the hospital where I had my son. (Baylor Grapevine). They did not mark them up, and the can get many sizes. I hated the ones from motherhood.
I purchased my bras at Babies R' Us and Motherhood in the Parks mall. I was a 38F. Hope this helps.
The Breast Feeding Store at HEB Methodist Hospital was awesome when I went there.
Motherhood Maternity online is where I got mine. I am that size too and it is a pain!
