I have 2 wonderful photographers!
1. LibbyLou - http://libbylouimages.com
2. InspiredJen - ____@____.com
Good Luck!
Back in 2010 I used Amy Tripple in Downers Grove for my newborn daughter's photo shoot and I think I paid around $450 and that was for all the digital images on a CD. Amy did a great job and I would love to use her again but I just checked her website and WOW, her price for a newborn session is now $1200.00. I can't afford that. I would love recommendations for a photographer that does newborn sessions and provides all the images on CD with printing rights
Thanks.

Agnes Malorny in Downers Grove!! Go to her web site or facebook page to see the wonderful, artsy pics she does. I was so happy with her maternity pics that she took of me that I returned to her to do our baby/family pics. She is priced about what you were paying using Amy. Very, very happy with pics she took - definately one of a kind.
Check out Monaco Photography- Jason does very reasonable individual sessions for $50 and now he offers a new package- the First Year Package for $200 which includes newborn 1 hour session and then 1/2 hour sessions throughout the first year at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months! I highly recommend this photographer- he's awesome and so so reasonable. Oh and you get full rights to all images- and tons of images, too!

Have fun and congrats!
Look up sfphotodesigns on Facebook. She is AMAZING. She took newborn pictures of my daughter and we're doing monthly shots. She's been taking pictures of my family since my twins were two months old, so for three years she's been capturing our memories!
Oh, and she's in Plainfield. http://www.facebook.com/pages/sfphotodesigns/100936203284800
My daughter is the baby with a pink bow on the main page's picture. :)
You can check out www.customkate.com. She is fabulous! She did my wedding when she was just starting out - and it was very reasonably priced (included all digital images) and they turned out GREAT!
She lives in Chicago, but I believe she travels. Not sure of the cost for newborn sessions, but I would check her out for sure!

Amanda McGreevy of Fox Valley Photography in Oswego did my daughter's newborn sleepy baby portraits in 2010. She specializes in the sleepy baby portraits and is such a sweet lady. She does a fabulous job and her prices were about 300-400. Her pricing and details are at her site at http://www.foxvalleyphotography.com/
She has a studio in her home and provides a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

They did the newborn (in hospital) pics for my 2 youngest sons, and we LOVED them!
They also shoot on location, and I think also in their studio.
We got the rights to all our photos and on a CD for about $150. I think that rate might be reduced because they get high volume at the hospital, but I can't imagine their private sessions would be a whole lot more.
Allie Rios does wonderful photography and reasonably priced. Check out her facebook page in the photos under Children's Photography:

Good luck with your hunt to find a good photographer!
I HIGHLY recommend Jessica Jill Photography. Check out her website at www.jessicajill.com. I've been going to her for family photos for about a year, but she specializes in newborns. And omg, those pictures are incredible.
She's reasonably priced. Your newborn session, with the CD and rights to the images will probably cost in the neighborhood of $300-$400, but she may offer you some special pricing if you ask. And the best part is that she'll travel to your home a few days after the baby is born, so you don't have to add the stress to an already stressful time.
Good luck and congratulations!
