Hi S.! I would recommend Dr. Cynthia Strieter-Boland. She is wonderful. She is part of Comprehensive Pediatrics with an office located at Fairview Hospital. You can check out their web page www.comprehensivepediatrics.com On several occasions when my kids have been sick and Dr Strieter was not available my kids were seen by Dr. Jurak. He too is a great doctor. Very child friendly doctors.

Dr. Amy Carruthers in Westlake (University Primary Care)- she is in the UH building at the corner of Clague and Detroit. She is absolutely wonderful, patient and happy to listen and talk with me about anything. Also, I have had good experiences with other doctors in the practice that I have gone to. I have heard good things about Dr. Garner, another dr. in the practice, you may want to try him if Dr. C. is full- he is great with the kids. I am always able to get my kids in the same day when they are sick. Also, she is very good about calling back the same day when I call with questions. Congratulations and good luck!

Hi Sara,

I just had a baby on 6/26 and I use Dr. So. He is located next to the new Target in the parking lot. He has been fantastic! He is so nice and always takes my numerous calls and gives out lots of formula and was also at the hospital the next morning I delivered. His number is ###-###-####. hope this helps

We love Comprehensive Pediatrics on Crocker and Detroit. They act as a team, so they are always available and always helpful. They have separate waiting rooms for sick and well children. And when I was a nervous new mother they never EVER made me feel stupid for asking a million questions. They are also very unbiased in their information. For example they don't take sides on breast feeding verses formula, they are very careful to simply inform. And when your child is sick, they take you THAT DAY. Hope this helps.
