Hello,
I'm trying to find a mall and area to shop in that isn't too far from us (Watauga area) and that is in a safe area. I've seen Northeast mall and it is pretty close - it that a good area to be in? Also, I'd like a mall that has a play area for the kids! Thanks so much for your help!

I love the Vista Ridge Mall in Lewisville, its a little further than NE mall, but in my opinion way better! There is a big play area for the kids downstairs and a big pay to play area upstairs where you can leave the kids to play while you go and shop. I have never used that, but it looks really neat! Have fun!

I think the NE Mall is probably the nicest in the area with a play center. The Grapevine Mills is a better mall but there is no play area. The NE mall has a new playcenter and the area is safe. There is the shops at Arlington and the Hulen mall, but I personally would not drive there without my hubby and they are always crowded. HTH.

Ridgar Mall hands down for there playland and the cool water foutain turtles and bridge to walk over near JCP. They even have a Old Navy inside (yeah) and Build-a-Bear and also The Childrens Palace clothing store (can get great sale items cheap!).
