I love my Canon PowerShot A2000 IS - has video capability, a long lens and takes great pix.
I'm looking for a new digital camera (around $100-200 range) that can take pictures really fast so I can catch a cute picture of my speedy, constantly moving daughters! Any suggestions?

I have a Canon Power Shot and love it! It's my second one and it has been really great. We bought the basic model and it runs about $200. You can get it to snap pictures fast but you have to set it up first by pressing the button half way down first. Sometimes it is slower than I'd like, but overall we're very happy with it!
I just got a new Canon Power Shot and love it. I got it at Besy Buy. You can find a good deal there. For $300 it came with a 2 yr Black Tie protection plan, memory card and case. I bought an extra battery for $40.
The camera with a package regularly goes on sale at Best Buy. Wait until there is a package. If you buy it separately, you pay more for the camera base price and still have to buy a card.
I just checked the Best Buy Sunday ad until I saw the package deal.
This summer a mom at the beach had a Power Shot. I was amazed by the quality of photos. Here's a link for a bit of research. Cool Pix is super small and portable. http://www.bestinclass.com/digital-cameras Happy snapping! L.
Canon makes excellent digital cameras. I have a canon eos 30d (a little more pricey than you want to spend) but I absolutely love it! I would suggest going to a place (Costco or Best Buy) that has a diplay so you can play a little with it before you buy, then once you find one you like, search online for best possible price.
