Hi,
I like Dr. Betty Lin at Kaiser Richmond. I found she had a good bedside manner and was good at explaining things. I hope she's still in Richmond.
Hi,
I am looking for a new OB/GYN in the Kaiser system. I got two referrals for Richmond but they both were not taking new patients. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I am open to Richmond, Walnut Creek, Park Shadelands, Martinez and Oakland Kaiser campuses.
I am looking for a doctor who is open minded to alternative medicine, has a warm bedside manner (I could not believe some of the doctors I met-so clinical and business like. Not a good match for me at all) and who is well informed w/ current research and trends.
Thanks so much.
Thanks for all your suggestions; I checked out the doctors and narrowed things from who is accepting patients. I will make appointments to meet the doctor I think is good match for me. I really appreciate all the referrals. That was such a big help. Kaiser is such a big system that w/ so many physicans a personal recommendation (or 10!) makes the process so much easier!

Have out checked out the Kaiser website? It lists the bios of the physicians who have open panels and it's a great place to start. KP.org...

I go to Kaiser Martinez, and I have Dr. Joseph Baem. He is wonderful. I totally recommend him!!!
I go to Kaiser Oakland & my OB/GYN is Dr. Erika Brenneman. LOVE her! Very warm & friendly. I highly recommend her.
yvette beasly at kaiser oakland. I love her!
Hi A., I can also vouch for Dr. Baem at Kaiser/Martinez.
I have been seeing him for 8 years now and really like him.
I went through all three of my preganancies with a Certified Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Midwife from Kaiser Walnut Creek - Sharyn Ginsberg. She is very open and accessible. When she needed to consult with a doctor, or if I ever wanted to see one, there are doctors with whom she works. But I felt, on a day to day basis, she was wiling to take more time and listen to my concerns.
I love my Ob/Gyn, Laura Minakel who is at the Oakland campus. I found her after delivering my first child and she has been with me through my subsequent pregnancy and 5 years later, I'm still in her care. She is just wonderful.
I'm not sure what her beliefs are on alternative medicine but I've been seeing Dr. Barbara Jung at Oakland for almost 2 years now and am really happy with her. She's very warm and makes you feel really comfortable. She's laid back and so am I so it's a good fit.
Good luck,
B.
Hi A., I see Dr. Renee Perry at Kaiser Oakland. I've only seen here a couple of times, but she's very warm and nice, answered my questions on the spot and I felt very comfortable with her.
I'm not sure where she stands with alternative treatments, but I suspect she'd be fore them. She's younger (early 40's?) and so may be more up on more current treatments.
Good luck,
M.
