Hey Mama's,

I'm looking for a great tattoo shop for me a my husband, we are buying each other tattoos for christmas. I'm waiting Curious George to honor my son, his nickname is money and Curious reminds me of my son. My husband wants to get chinese lettering. We live in Lewisville but are willing to travel anywhere in the metroplex. We are looking for a clean, professional, reasonably priced shop to fullfil our need.

If you are willing to travel a little ways, one of my good friends is a tattoo artist at Fine Line Tattoo in Mesquite. ###-###-####
3801 Gus Thomasson
Near the intersection of I-30 and Gus Thomasson. His name is Rikki Knight and he's awesome! This is his personal myspace page and I'm not for sure if it's set to private or not. If not, you can click on his pictures and go to his Tattoos album. He has done Curious George before and has a picture of it on there (although the context of that tattoo is more "adult" than what you are wishing for).

Also, Rikki's mentor when he was apprenticing is an awesome tattoo artist as well. He is at FINE LINE TATTOO in Dallas @ 13505 Montfort Dallas TX ###-###-#### and his name is ROB WINGO.

There is actually a good one in Lewisville. It's called Love and Hate. (I think). They are on 121 just north of corporate. They are in the strip center across the street from McDonalds. My husband has tons of tattoos and that's where he goes for all of them. I've got 5 on me, and 3 out of my 5 where done there. The guys name that my husband recommends is Cris. I know he's been out for a while, but just call up there. He's very busy so you may have to schedule it out a ways.

Our really good friend is a really good artist and trained in Japan for years and is an amazing artist. He can even tattoo with the long wooden stick (the old age way-not many people can do that). He has 20+years experience and does murals and paintings...etc.. I can't say enough good stuff about him. He works at a shop in Dallas area-close to where they hold the Fair every year. He always has openings-his name is Mike Smith and his myspace has tons of his work on there-myspace.com/ras_13/ or thirteensdream.com. His cell is ###-###-#### and shop # ###-###-####. I believe the shops website is www.aetattoo.com. I have a huge back piece he did on me before having my kiddo-I can email you the pic if you give me your email address. He is great. If you decide on him tell him E. sent you.

J.,
I did some research and I found one in Denton that I liked. It has been 3 years since I got mine, but they should still be clean and nice. I can't remeber the name but it is in Denton by the college and it is in a place that looks like a red barn. I can remember how to get there, but I don't remember street names.
