I'm on my last child, so I've been through several preschools in other states and found a good one in Provo. It's near BYU and it's called Discovery School. The owner is Shari, who has a degree in social work and is very professional (all the accreditation and state inspections, etc.). She has great help too. They go on field trips to the Bean museum, dinosaur museum, parks, etc., and my son loves it. He's almost 3 and knows his ABCs, colors, counting, kid songs, etc. Shari's cell number is ###-###-####. They have (inexpensive!) preschool M/W/F or T/Th morning and flexible daycare options. Best of luck!
I take my daughter to a preschool in PG where they do the regular preschool stuff every time. Then each time, they alternate between an hour of music, karate and dance. So, they do each of those once a week. I love it! It originally started in Orem and they still have one there. The one in Orem is at the Center Stage Dance Studio. The one I go to in PG is called the Vibe Dance Studio. If your son is interested in any of the extras (karate, music, dance) I would highly recommend it!
BYU's preschool is definitely the best. Enrollment is probably going on right now. They have two morning and two afternoon 4 year old classes. The facilities are excellent, and the teachers are top notch.
Lots of good preschool options in Provo / Orem. You might want to look on www.Preschool.Directory.
All listings posted on Preschool.Directory are posted by the preschools, meaning only the ones who care get listed.
Good luck!
