I use to work at Primrose and my daughter went there as well. It was a great school. So was Bright Horizons in Me Tampa.

Barrington is over-priced for what it is. Primrose is an excellent preschool, I used to work at the one on Collier Parkway and can atest to how nice and helpful the staff is. But Primrose is priced high, they do offer discounts starting with 2yrs for 1/2 weeks. Look into Creative Times on County Line Rd, they are very nice. Hope this helps you.

I really liked the folks at Discovery Point right by McKitrick (sorry for the spelling). They were fabulous and let me come and see my kids at any time, were gentle, and even allowed me on days off to drop my boys off for an hour to run errands. I hope this helps.

If you're not looking for full-time care I have to recommend St. Timothy Early Childhood Center. They are fantastic!

I have my Son at Primrose of Westchase & I love it. It's clean, the staff is very nice & loving & they have "curriculums"/planned activities for toddlers & older kids.

Hi M.,

My son goes to Primrose in Westchase. He started there in January when we moved here from Dallas. Prior to our move, I had asked the referral group on Primrose and got a ton of responses about how great it was...even the one in North Tampa/Lutz.
It took a couple of weeks for him to adjust but I think he is doing fine now. The facility is extremely clean especially compared to others that I had visited. It reminded me more of a school than a daycare.
Good luck.

I live in North Tampa. My 21 month old daughter goes to Primrose in Tampa Palms and we love it. I have co-workers whose children are at the Westchase facility and they love it as well. I can't remember specifics, but I didn't like Bright Horizons - perhaps the hours of operation? I don't recall. You are welcome to email me more questions, or call me to discuss ###-###-#### (evenings). M.
