My daughter's 3rd birthday is next weekend and I am looking for a bakery that will do a castle cake or fun Cinderella cake. I live in San Leandro and would appreciate some referrals.

In San Leandro, Bit of Ireland Bakery on Davis street, going towards Costco, but not quite as far. Delicious. They have been in business for 30 yrs. And their prices are very reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. all scrathc. Baked there!
There's a great bakery called Sweet Dreams that can do almost anything you wish, but they're located in San Bruno. I've had their red velvet cupcakes, and they are awesome! www.sweetdreamshop.com
I recommend Nolands Cakes in Pleasanton. They did our wedding cake and they have done our daughters birthday cakes for the last 8 years. Very creative and the best tasting cake you will ever have!
Albertsons/lucky's did one for my daughters 8th birthday It was beautiful the cake was the entire form of the body and face of cinderella. Pink and purple were the main colors used. She loved it. I picked it up at the one on harder and Jackson in Hayward. I'm sure the one on hesperian would have it as well! Try looking through their catalog. Good Luck!
Hi S., I have a great cake lady I use who has done incredible cakes for my kid's birthdays. They're not only really pretty, but really delicious and for the price you can't beat it.
She works out of her home in Dublin. She can deliver it to your home if need to. I've always been thrilled w/ her work...does more than I even request. I just give her an idea of what I want and the colors and I'm always pleasantly surprised w/ the outcome. Everyone always asks me for her number and loves the taste of the cakes too!

There is a great Bakery on Hesperian Blvd between Lewelling and Bockman road in San Lorenzo. It is located in a small shopping center as you come up Hesperian from San Leandro is would be on your left hand side. It is before you get to Kennedy Park. It is called the Gala Party Shop. They have wonderful cakes and they can do just about any cake you want. I had a Lady and the Tramp cake done for a party and it was awesome. I think you would be happy with them. Hope this helps

Goldilocks in Newark on Newark Blvd in the same shopping center as Kids Castle. Worth the Drive! All of the cakes are on window display,etc. They may have a website.

Check your local Lucky's. I just got a beautiful Disney Princess cake (shaped like a castle and comes with 6 Disney princess figurines) from my Lucky's store.
I don't know any place I would absolutely recommend hands down, but I did order a castle cake at the Lucky's formerly Albertson's in Front of Bayfair Mall in San Leandro. It features all the Princess's. They have a really cute one. The other option is if you like to bake then Michael's at the Bayfair Mall has a castle cake set that you could build up. It looks like lots of fun.

I lived in san leandro for 10 years and just moved to hayward 1 year ago. The Lucky's on Hesparian has a great Princess Castle cake. Try them,if not i know of a really great Bakery in San Jose. It's sorta pricey, however it's definetly worth it. The bakery in San Jose is called Sweet Passions Bakery. Hi S.. Your local Lucky's has a couple of castle cakes, one is the bratz (which is probably a little old for your 2 year old) and another is the disney. Their cakes are really good and this is coming from a homemaker that makes homemade cakes.
Hi, ok so I definitily recommend Luckys. I've heard from people they do great castle cakes plus I went to look at them last week and the're really nice.
there is a FANTASTIC bakery in San Francisco, called I Dream of Cake. The cakes there are more art pieces than desserts. Really, you'd be amazed at what they can do. Here's a link to the site where you can check out the gallery.

I got my wedding cake there, as well as a very cool Star Wars birthday cake. Not to mention numerous other smaller cakes over the years:)
try Goldilocks Bakeshop and Red Ribbon bakeshop (Filipino bakeshop) you have to go to their store to choose fr different design or maybe you can request to make special design for you, price is reasonable (I think) cake is good too.
