I have a 3 year old dog who my mother in law was taking care of for about a year and a half while we weren't able to have pets in our apartment. We have her now, and I know it's way past due for her to have a check-up and all her shots. I'd love to hear recommendations on a good as well as affordable vet in the Fremont area (I live closer to the Glenmoor area)but anywhere in Fremont would be okay. Thank you!

What can I do next?

I'm not sure about the Fremont area, but they probably have a PetSmart- the PetSmart in Milpitas (McCarthy Ranch) has a vet on the premises- see if maybe there's also one in Fremont.

Hello
I used to go to a veterinary clinic on Fremont Blvd (near the tracks) not saying any names... But I've recently switched as they were giving my dog shots he did not need and charging me an arm & a leg for unnecessary treatments. I've since switched ti Central Veterinary Hospital 510-797-PETS and they have been WONDERFUL. Smalll clinic but very honest and helpful !!! Highly recommended

I am looking for another Vet, too. American Animal Care Center, I have to mentioned, My dog had a surgery yesterday. I wasn't impressed with the doctor. When I first brought my dog to exam. I was send to a private room waiting for doctor to come and do the exam, but instead the nurse took Shadow to other room to exam her! I was like, huh!? When Shadow was done with surgery and stayed one night. I came to pick her up. you know the routine, that doctor should come and explain about the surgery how it went, etc.. he didn't!I had to ask the nurse some questions. I feel that he just wanted my money and didn't care for the pets! He wasn't that friendly and warm. That turned me off. So I recommend for everyone not to go there! Also, it is pricey.

My friends recommended Central Vet. So I will go there next time.
