Hey moms:)
My 2 year old son is getting pretty good at drinking from an open cup but I am having trouble finding any suitable for him. He often uses our small glass 4oz cups but I would really like to give him something non breakable. When I was a kid I remember us having a ton of just brightly colored plastic cups. I have looked at wal-mart but haven't found what I am looking for. Does anyone have any idea where I can find some small plastic cups? Thanks!

What can I do next?

I've had the same problem, and had the best luck online (Amazon) searching for "plastic tumblers".

Hi J.,
I remember buying plastic cups from Tupperware, when my children were very young. Although that was some time ago, I am sure they still offer something in all different sizes.
Some have removable lids als. Hope this helps.
P.S. I still have some of them & they have lasted 20 years!!

Sincerely,
L. T.

What's important is the type of plastic (I know #5 is "safe"--based on what we know--but there might be another one that is "safe") and you can check that out online. Restaurants' kids' cups are free and the ones we've collected are number 5s. Personally, I'd buy American made ones, but I've not seen many of those. Good luck, and choose plastic number (on the bottom inside a little recyclable sign) over cup attractiveness. Or you could find some little bamboo ones if you look (not sold as drinking cups but they function like that for little children).

We had a ton of those sippy cups with the clear plastic lids and a plain spout. The lids just snapped on- not screw on. Don't use the lids. Voila! Perfect size colorful cups. And Ikea is also a greatresource and great fun...

I found some small Tervis Tumblers at Bed, Bath and Beyond that are maybe a bit bigger but still very easy for a little set of hands. They are a bit costly but they come with a great replacement program. Other then that, I think way back when (1st child) I found some 2-pks of clear "juice" cups from WalMart that only hold a small amount.

Sorry I am not much more help...

Hi!
I read your request on finding plastic cups for your son. where you can find durable colored plastic cups for his age is at Ikea. They're not expensive and come in a package of four. I don't remember how much they cost but I know it's not that expensive. You can check their website as well so you can see what they look like. They even have plates, bowls & the utensils sets. I recommend them to you. I bought the set for my son when he was 3yrs old & believe it or not I still have them & my son is 7yrs old. I think they're worth buying.
Well good luck to you!
Blessings.

Wal-Mart, Target and the larger dollar stores. Maybe even Big Lots.

I have the same issue. My mom has tons of little cups from when we were little that she got from a tupperware party.

I went to babies r us and found nothing. I ended up getting the take and toss sippy cups. I do not put the top on. It is about 5 ounces and very light.
