I concur that it may be a pimple. You can get a "boil" acne and you're not getting the actual infection when you "pop" it, so it just festers (that may be the white "seed" you see). You can try putting acne medicine there with a q-tip and seeing if that helps dry it up.

Are you sure the 'black head' wasn't a tick?
They can be so very tiny and it explains the blood.
I'd see a doctor about it in case Lyme disease or some other tick borne disease is a possibility.
With feeling heat and pain, you have an infection, maybe an abscess, maybe a staph infection - it's not anything you want to fool around with.

Did your husband or you examine the "scab" you took off? Do you see a "target" shaped red zone on your ear? If so - that "scab" might have been a tick.

If it's been over 4 days - you need to call your primary care physician and be seen. if you have pain and heat - that's usually a sign of an infection. If you have insurance? I might go to urgent care to be checked out.

Tell them what you told us - have blood drawn to be checked for Lyme Disease and have your ear examined by a professional.

I get pimples in my ear that hurt like the dickens. Warning: This part is gross. I pop them (usually with a tissue between it and my finger) and keep pushing on it until all that comes out is blood and sometimes the clear fluid. Then I let it scab over and heal. Probably I should leave them alone, but otherwise they hurt for longer. I would never let my husband near them, although I do occasionally make him pop pimples I can't reach on my back. Super duper sexy over here.

Ouch!! I'd go to the doctor - a dermatologist if you can. You need to get some help with this. Please don't go through this without medical help.
