Lash Extensions

Has anyone tried lash extensions? My own eyelashes seem to have gotten sparser as I've gotten older (bummer) so I'm tempted to try them. Plus the idea of not having to use mascara is appealing. My worry, though is that they will end up making my own lashes fall out quicker, leaving them even more sparse. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with lash extensions. FYI: the salon I'm thinking of is Lash Lounge. Thanks.

I have been using Latisse (generic form) for 10 months now and I love it! My eyelashes are fuller and longer. They are light so I still have to use a mascara, I use Mary Kay and LOVE it, but I love the length and the fact they are fuller. My sister, sister-in-law, and one of her friends have all been using it with the same results. If you are interested in how to get it cheaper, private message me!

I don't know anything about the lash extensions. I am fortunate to have pretty good lashes but I discovered a new trick that makes them better.

I have been asked numerous times if I have lash extensions!!

I use the Christian Dior conditioner/primer and then put on my mascara, I like Clinique High Impact. You do 1 eye at a time, put primer on, then mascara.

You can get both at Sephora (Dior is around $28, Clinique around $20). I love the effect and no have no need for extensions.

Lash Lounge -- I've not heard anything negative about them.

They are awesome! I wish I could afford them again. You will love them. I would watch groupon or living social for coupons.
Yes, your lashes will also fall out, but they grow back.

My friend has them and loves them. She did say they were a bit costly to maintain, but they look fabulous. After seeing hers, I seriously contemplated - but a bit too pricy for me right now. . .
she didn't mention anything about glue, she said something about "tieing in" but that could be glue and I am just ignorant to that phrase.
I say, go for it! If you don't like them or find they are hindering your own lashes, you can have them removed.

I have gotten them and they are ok. They last for about 6 weeks and I was cautioned to not sleep on my stomach so I avoid the chance of rubbing my face on a pillow and to not use eye makeup remover or facewash around my eyes because it could weaken the glue used to apply them. They were a little expensive as well. I use Lash Stilleto mascarra and love it. You can also get a pair of false lashes, they are about $2 a pop.

I've had lash exxtensions for a couple of years now and love them! Keep in mind that they can only apply the extensions on your own natural lashes, so if they are sparse, so will be your extensions. Sounds like you might be better off getting an Rx for Latisse and going that route. I've done both and Latisse really does work! I'm just too lazy to put mascara on every day so I've kept my extensions on. :) Good luck!

One of my friends got these and when she was reaching into her oven, they melted. Not pretty and she won't do it again. You may be better off trying rimmel lash accelerator. It gets good reviews. They also featured it on the View this past week as an alternative to Latisse.

I actually use the L'oreal double extend with growth syrum ... I have noticed less fall out and more growth since using it personally. As well I could never imagine NOT wearing mascara I LOVE the stuff!!

Get a perscription for Latisse. It is probably cheaper then extentsions. You'll notice great results in about 6 weeks.
