Definitely stay at circus circus since its so kid friendly, check out the M&M world...honestly just going for a walk at night on the strip is AMAZING. All the lights lit up were magical to me as a kid & still are. I could stare out of the hotel room window for an hour =)
Have fun!

K., get in touch with their Chamber of Commerce. Ask them what they suggest. And check with AAA they may also help in planning events for your family.

Yes, there are lots of fun things to do. Depending on where you stay , they may have a pool right there, of course.
There is also the Aquarium/Shark Exhibit at Mandalay Bay - all of us loved it when we were there last time.
There is also a Dolphin exhibit at the Mirage which was cool. They even have a window where you can see the Dolphins swimming underwater.
If they are interested, there are art exhibitions at the Belagio.
Here are a few links to some fun stuff depending on your interest: http://www.lasvegas.com/attractions/kids.html
Here is the link on the same site to museums etc: http://www.lasvegas.com/attractions/indoor.html

When I googled "las vegas for kids", there were lots of returns in case that helps.

Enjoy your trip!

Stay off the strip sidewalks at night. It has really gone downhill with all the fliers and cards with pictures you don't want your boys to see. They are littered on the ground everywhere. The taxi signs and billboards are awful. They are definitely selling what you don't want your boys to be thinking about. Vegas used to cater to families about 15-18 years ago when we lived there, but they must not have made as much money. Now they are back to the sleaze.

Las Vegas is fantastic place where families can take their kids and children. For children there are many attractions where they can easily explore whole day with fun, enjoyment and lot more. There will be no tension for parents that in which spot you can take your kids. Amusements and theme parks, museums, theater, kids club and restaurants welcome you and your kids to visit it.

Circus Circus has a small amusement park called the Adventure Dome. I remember my parents taking me and my sister to it when we were around 10-12 and we had a lot of fun. There's a roller coaster, a swinging ship, and a waterfall drop ride. There are a lot of carnival type areas too.

You could try to catch the pirate ship battle at Treasure Island, the Mirage volcano eruption, and the singing/dancing Bellagio fountain show. Those shows are all free, but I think they all happen after nightfall so they might not work so well depending on bedtimes.

Make sure you stop at M&Ms World-- it's somewhere I still like to go as an adult. Have a great trip! =)

We went to Vegas about 5 or 6 years ago just to see a friend who was in town there. We stayed at Treasure Island. We had no problems at Treasure Island since we were staying there, but we tried to go into a few of the other resorts to do some shopping and they wouldn't let us in the door with the kids under 18. We told them we weren't there to gamble, but it didn't matter. The Luxor did let us go in to shop, but not the others. We felt a little frustrated. Maybe call or check on-line for the Las Vegas visitors bureau to see what you can and can't do with kids there. I'm sure there are some "kid-friendly" shows, but check into it before you go. My friend stayed at Circus Circus with her family, but I don't think they went anywhere else.

K.,
We have always taken the kids to Las Vegas since they were babies. Stay at Circus Circus great rates right now and they can play inside in the adventure dome all day. Rides for both ages and games. They also have the circus acts and the midway with all the fair type games. Little tip if you do stay there and do this use a 50 or 100 dollar bill on the midway in the office by McDonald's get change and they will give you some 2 for 1 play tickets. They can come and go all day from the adventure dome and it isn't expensive. All the hotels offer arcades and some have rides but for your age group that would be the best investment and they will have a great time. Mine are 14 16 and 19 and still enjoy themselves there.
Good Luck to you
