Oh come on...28? I'm wearing those and I'm 50! There is no age limit on clothing styles, just appropriate styles based on occasion, location, weather, and body type. Look in the mirror, and if it looks good, wear it!
Too skanky for a 28 year old mom? I mean, I wouldnt wear them to church or school functions. You know Im feeling old when Im about to hang up my boots. :(
What do you think?
They are high heels. I usually wear them with a sweater and skinny jeans. Long dresses, but not short dresses.
Sweet! Thanks, Im still going to rock them!

Are they high heels or riding boots?
Either way, rock it ;)
I tried on every pair of motorcycle boots I could find, but I look like a duck in them because I'm so short. I ended up with a pair of knee high 'cowgirl' boots, which look awesome with leggings and a long sweater!!
Just don't wear a short skirt and low cut shirt with them ;)
Depends on the top... low-cut halter? Skanky. Boxy sweater... cute.
You really think he'll keep his hands off you in knee high boots?
Personally, I wore mine with a short little maternity dress the other day. They'll have to pry them on my feet 80 years from now at my funeral. LOVE THEM! Just watch what you pair them with.
I'm 56 and I still rock that look.
Heck no. It's not too skanky for anyone. It's a cute fall/winter style. Very appropriate.
As long as your jeans don't have any butt cleavage or holes showing off your underwear... go ahead!
No, it just depends on your figure. If you've got big ole hips and thighs that look ginormous over the slim line of the knee-high boots, then that look is a no-no at any age. But if you are blessed with great legs, slim hips and flat belly that can carry off the tight jeans needed to slip into a boot, go for it!
no not all. your only 28! Wear what looks good and feels good. If other moms are staring, it's because they are wondering where they can get some boots like that.
OMG....I LOVE my jeans/leggings with knee high boots. I hope I don't look skanky. I'm 34.
I'm not personally a fan of the high heeled boots with the skinnies, but that's just a style preference.I prefer chunky heels or riding boots. But I don't think it makes anyone look hoochy.
wear them! i just bought a pair of knee high riding boots and i'm 48! go for it!
put your boots with some skinny jeans and a velvet blazer... add a scarf... very chic.
i think having your own style is not about how other people view you and what you wear... it's about being comfortable and CONFIDENT in what you wear and how that makes you feel.
i'm tired. i have no idea if that even makes sense! :)
I still wear them and I am 43.
I can't believe you think you are old at 28!!!!! At 28 I was partying w friends, working off and on in field camps in Alaska and traveling the world...going on all kinds of adventures. You will look great in your boots and jeans. You should wear them definitely! And don't think of yourself as old! It's all your mindset. :)
as long as you aren't wearing a micro mini skirt, you are fine. I think boots on any age woman (as long as age appropirate outfit) is wonderful! A great way to feel hot without revealing anything.
I don't see what the big deal is.
At that age, that is what I wore.
You are that age and a Mom. No biggie.
Look at all the celebrity Moms... much older than you, and see what they wear. They are fashionable and do not dress like a "nun" just because they are a Mom.
But yes, there is a difference, between fashionably hip and 'skanky.'
Knee high boots and jeans, can be very tasteful.
Depending on how you dress the rest and carry yourself.
I'm 34 and wear tall boots with skinny jeans and have 3 kids. This is my type of style so I don't look like I'm trying hard to stay in my teens/early 20's... http://www.whitehouseblackmarket.com/store/browse/product...=
I think they are fine! You aren't even showing your legs!
Keep in mind that there are women who can make a pair of Levis and a t-shirt or a Catholic school uniform look skanky! It all depends on your overall (tasteful) style. Don't hang up the boots just yet....
ooh my word!! you are fresh, young "spring chicken"!!! GO FOR IT!!!
I saw some GREAT knee high boots at Marshalls the other day - if I wasn't 45, i would've bought them!!!
Girl - knee high boots look AWESOME with skinny jeans!! Got it? GO FOR IT!!! At 28 - you are too young to think you are old!!!
LOVE THEM.
and you are 28!!! you can rock anything you want girlfriend.
That fits our age range! I think it sounds cute:-) You should go for it.
Very stylish, must have item this season. I just purchased the thigh high nude pair for the Christmas trip :) http://www.rachelzoe.com/casadei-over-the-knee-boots
I wear them at 41. :)
Tall boots are the only thing that look good with skinny jeans in m opinion.
I hope not.....I'm 40 and still wear 'em!
I am a 50 yr old that will never hang up my boots or heels. Age is a number and if you feel comfortable with who you are, Does it really matter what other people think?
Rock on honey Rock on!!
Nope. Keep rocking those boots mama!
Boots + Jeans = cute no matter what age.
Boots + dresses = cute no matter what age.
Boots + miniskirt or super short dress = skanky 98% of the time (98% that try it are either too young, too old, or don't have the legs/butt to pull it off).
