Lots of scrubbing. Steel wool might work. We had work done last year and had little paint splatters... baking soda is a safe abrasive, too. Or use a metal cleaner-- Mr. Metal is the one we have. I rarely use it.
You might also be able to razor-blade it off, as you might a window.
Try a cleaner made for just stainless steel.
I know they sell this product at Target.
It's in a grey bottle w/an orange nozzle.
Latex paint is water based.
Soap & water.
Scrub.
