Does anyone know of a salon in the Short Pump, VA area that caters to children? When I lived in Ohio, there was a hair salon especially for children where the kids could sit in toy cars, planes, horses, etc. and have their hair cut. Also, there was a purple dinosaur slide and video games in the waiting area. Any recommendations for a place similar to this would be appreciated. Thanks!
I don't know of one in Short Pump, but there is one in the southside area off of Hull Street in the Midlothian Area. It is across the street from American Family Fitness on Brad McNeer P arkway.

They are open on Saturdays but not on Sundays. You usually don't need an appointment. They are really sweet and my son tolerates his haircut (he's almost 2).
My son loves sitting in the firetruck, airplane, and police car at the Pigtails and Crewcuts in Gayton Crossing. They have lots of tv's playing a little cartoon when we're there. Good luck!

Pigtails and Crewcuts was a haircut place in Gayton Crossing that specialized in children. I don't know if it's still open or not.
Once I tried Sport Clips because it has a lot of sports distractions.
Finally I just decided to get a recommendation at the local Hair Cuttery and that is what we like best. Let me know if you want more specifics.
