Kid Size Insoles Anywhere?

My 4.5 year old with his size 12 preschooler feet has worn out the insoles in his sneakers. I got some dollar store adult ones and cut them to size, but they do a horrible job - sweaty feet and fell apart. Do they even make kid size insoles and where can you find them? If not, what brand holds up well for kiddos playing in water, etc. He's a puddle stomper (LOL). The outside of the shoes are fine, but now the bottom frame of the shoe is exposed and it can't be comfortable.

Thanks!

So What Happened?

Thanks for the people who gave suggestions to where to get them. I said worn out in my question, but I should have said they were broken up by too much water. The shoes are OshKosh, and they fit fine - my son tells me what's comfortable and not when we go shoe shopping. The insoles just weren't made to stand up to being super wet-I had to wash them a few times due to super muddiness.

I have bought Dr. Sholl's smallest adult size and cut the, for my daughter and they were fine. At a shoe repair or athletic store you may be able to get Spenco brand and do the same thing. They are more expensive, made from neoprene and are very comfortable, and take forever to wear out. (my husband hasn't been able to destroy his and has moved them from old shoes to new ones three times now! Good luck!

Sounds like the shoes arent a good fit for him. You might want to invest in a good shoe and not an insole. Also Rain boots to puddle jump in.

I understand you are trying to save money with this idea and you are in the short run. But in the long run you will end up spending a lot more. At his age his feet are still forming and he needs good quality shoes, that fit, so they form correctly. His shoes are worn out and need to be replaced. I would invest in good quality shoes and rain boots.

If he doesn't have good quality, well fitting, shoes you are setting him up for foot problems such as fallen arches, not to mention bad knees and ankles, hips out of alignment and back problems as he grows up. Your feet are the foundation of your body and as with any foundation it it's in poor shape what's above will fall apart.
