JFF - What Would Your Significant Other Say YOUR Annoying Habit Is?

What annoying habit of yours does your husband/sig other complain about the most?

Mine would probably be burping and moving my feet in a repetitive motion while sitting or getting ready to go to sleep (hard to explain, just a habit I have had for years). He also hates when I try to clean while he is watching TV (as in run the vacuum or dust buster). Well excuse me! Lol

So What Happened?

LOL!!! So I just texted my husband and asked, "What is my most annoying habit"? He says "asking dumb questions like you are reading a Cosmo magazine". I said "be serious". He says "I am". HAHA! WHATEVER!!!

My husband complains that i'm a "clean freak" only because I am always cleaning and can't sleep if there are any dishe's in the sink....Or when I vacume I have to see the "vacume line's" after I get done...I guess I do have "some" bad habits! lol.

I think it bugs him that "I'm practically perfect in every way."

Ha, ha. Kidding.

I *think* I'm always right. Gotta admit, it's pretty annoying.

That, and I steal the blankets and hog the bed. Generally, I'm sort of a pain in the rump (shhhh, don't tell!) And Dawn, I din't even think of that...you're SO right about mamapedia!!!!!

1) talking too fast and having too many subjects in my one conversation or sentences. My Husband has actually told me while staring at me blankly "After 3 seconds of you talking, I don't know what you are saying...."

2) that I talk too loud. My voice is just naturally loud and has been since I was a child. It runs in my family. My kids have trumpet voices too. My Husband grew up in a "library." ie: his house/Mom while growing up, was quiet. My house was not.

3) that I am so expressive. But that he likes that our kids are that way too. But he finds it annoying sometimes. He grew up with a non-expressive Mom. Ugh.

4) that I am 'messier' than him. True. But I am also very organized.

5) he likes things all symmetrical.... I don't. We are opposite that way.
I am less 'anal' than he is.

6) He saw Alex O'loughlin (of Hawaii 5-0) yesterday, and I started getting all excited and said "I have to tell my girlfriends!!!!!" and then got on the phone to tell them. And he just rolls his eye-balls and says "Guess that's a female thing. What's so exciting about that? How come you women have to tell each other such mundane things.'
Duh.

I'm the one who wrote the post about what our husband's annoying habits are..and im' dying laughing because a lot of the ones that people wrote about their husbands apply to me! I grope my husband at horribly inappropriate times, i fart and burp a lot, I talk over his xbox playing, and I spend ridiculous amounts of time on the phone squawking with my mom and sisters. I also tend to be very passionate about fleeting things--if one minute I decide that I want a new couch, i have to have it RIGHT NOW! I won't let it fade from conversation until it actually happens. He loves me though haha

P.S--i'm also a horribly obnoxious drunk, but he just smiles and shakes his head at me then puts me to bed :) at least that's what he did in our pre-baby days

As soon as I am done eating...home or out, I look at my teen daughter and smile like a mental patient...so all my teeth show. She will nod, or thumbs up...or *GASP* start pointing on her own teeth for places for me to "fix" mine (junk like pepper stuck in there). He HATES that! LOL

Also that I wash my hands and brush my teeth non-stop... and that it takes me forever to settle into bed...fixing the blankets and such (and if you saw the other post about HIS habits...there is the snoring/unknown odd noise that is unidentified that emits mysteriously from his face that I have to contend with before my brain will shut down to sleep...about then Michael Buble starts lulling me to sleep!)

I also will switch subjects like a squirrel running across the street..this way and that....he sometimes just looks plum worn out after a 10 minute "talking to" I give him (I work with very small children, mostly isolated all day...sometimes it just spills out all at once at him...poor guy....attack of the word lady...and he installs auto-glass all day so has been with all sorts of foreign and domestic peoples all day dealing with their screwed up day caused by a busted windshield..then I dump on him like that!

I am sure there is more! LOL

EDIT..to S.H...ok..Alex ...YUMMO! And almost all the rest of yours...too many subjects in one converstaion...hubby being lost...I get that to! Loud voice, yup I get that too. Expressive when I talk..yup..I AM italian...its in the hands! I also talk fast...hubby looks like he got side-swiped when I am trying to dump my days worth of information on him. LOL!

I have sensory issues, in which everything has to be balanced/symmetrical. For instance if someone pinches my right elbow, I absolutely MUST pinch my left elbow with the same exact pressure/angle/longevity. If I scratch my left cheek, I have to scratch my right, if a cold drafts hits my back, I have to have it also hit my front. If someone taps me on the shoulder, I sneak and tap my other shoulder so they don't think I'm a weirdo...

I also count obscure things (like every telephone we pass as we drive) and do repetitive motions, like bending/tapping my fingers in a rhythm in a numerical sequence or something. He teases me saying "left, right, left right, left left left, tap, right right right, tap, left, right, left, right, left left left tap, right right right tap...."

Okay, so I'm a tad ocd.

It annoys him that when I burp I actually say, "burp" or "Bob" I don't know WHY I do it... just goofy I suppose :)

He would say my most annoying habit is using too many pans, dishes, spoons, plates, etc while cooking and not cleaning as I go :)
If he cooks I clean and he cleans when I cook (the nights he is home) ~ he thinks I do it intentionally but I don't!
And I leave the door to the laundry room open when I am doing laundry (so I can hear when the washer is done) and it makes him crazy!!!

My husband for sure would say that my annoying habit is either talking to him when he is trying to focus on something else, leaving clutter or being on the computer after my daughter goes to sleep.

I also 'twitch' my feet, similar to someone burning off pent up energy.

I correct his discipline techniques in front of the kids when I think he's taken it too far (screaming for very, very minor offenses or 'popping' the back of their heads to get their attention).

If I think he's to close to the railing or I see someone almost sideswipe us, I react (big, noisey breath in....jump back in the seat, tense up) and he HATES it!

Oh, and I bite my nails . :(

My hubs and I were cracking up the other night at how far we've come. When we first started dating we would turn the faucet on in the bathroom so the other couldn't hear us pee! Now we burp, fart, among other obnoxious things and have no shame. I just text him and asked what my most annoying things are and he wrote without hesitation: "your stubborness, that you always have your way. Oh and you never let me watch what I want on my own damn TV." WHAT?! Boo be trippin! LOL! I'm ALWAYS watching his boxing and movies I've never seen that he starts watching in the middle of the movie! And I may be tad more stubborn than him, but in my defense, I am usually right! Oh and he hates how I walk around our room naked all the time he swears everybody can see me. Hahaha!!

Where to start? lol
1)I leave the bed a mess. I hate making the bed. I make it if we have company or I just washed the sheets. Other than that, I don't.
2)I ask him silly questions. Why do you love me? Would you rather __ or __? I am really just being funny or trying to be.
3)I sigh randomly for no reason. I don't realize when I do it most of the time.
4)I have to have things in a certain place. I want everything organized! Even his "junk drawer" is organized!

Burping and farting. He does too though!! So, I told him that if HE didn't than I wouldn't. It's gross, but feels so much better when you get that air out!!
Also, I can't sit still when watching TV or a movie. I am in one position for 5 minutes, than another for 10 minutes, then I got to take off my pants cuz they are itching! It probably drives him nuts.

My husband often jokes that I get lost on the way to the garbage because I'll open something (like a cough drop) and then get distracted by one of my 3 kids or him or something, and just leave the wrapper on the counter. I always MEAN to go back and throw it away, but I get busy and forget. At least I never do it with gross stuff, just random wrappers and stuff.

I also am totally OCD about how the dishwasher is loaded; if my husband loads it "wrong", then I'll unload and reload it. I'm working on just letting it go, but it's like Tetris to me, a challenge: how many dishes can I fit in there! When he does it, he leaves about half of the dishes out! haha
