What advertisements pop up on your screen with your MP?
Right now I have an ad for Bella Ballerina by Skechers....which I find amusing since I parent a 16 year old boy who has always eschewed all things Skecher. But I like it because it is a quiet ad and so verily different from my life - being pink and girly.
On the main Q & A page I get an ad for pens that makes the most annoying noise - with no way that I can see to turn off the grating noise. Ah, I hate website ads that pop up audio and make me go hunt for a mute button.

I've never had an ad on MP with sound. Is that unusual? And yes, my sound is on. ;)
UPDATE: Okay, so guess what? I am now getting annoying pen ads! Ugh! It started happening almost as soon as I hit send with this answer! Lucky me.
I have the LG TV one too! But you all have me really curious about the pens. I haven't see that one!! Now I gotta find it!
The last time I complained bitterly about the sound on an ad, it went away after a while. So I suggest we all say we do not want the sound ads. I don't mind them moving. I just hate the sound and need to hear email notices for work.
I have LG, Natural Child Magazine, and along the bottom Ramada, Land of Nod and ATT. The only one I want to stab is the pen one.
LOL! I get the pen one too!! I was on MP the other day, scrolling through questions and I kept hearing it. It was freaking me out! (Note, home alone in the middle of the night...scarrrrryy) I couldn't figure out where the the noise was coming from. 10 minutes later, I hit refreshed or something, and then I saw the pens. I wasn't so scared anymore! Lol
Seriously. I want to go through my house and start a pen bonfire. Silence you pens!!! I am the lord of this land!!!
The ads up right now are boring, so I'm not going to tell you about them.
BUT, can I vent about something else? Every night at dinner time, we get three or four automated phone calls from various political candidates. You know what DOESN'T make me want to vote for you? Automated recordings.
Good grief. I'm so charming today, like a troll. Fee fi fo fum, Ephies got some beef for everyone! My little one was up all night vomiting. Hence my 7:45pm case of grumps.

I use Adblock Plus for Chrome (also available for firefox) and don't see any advertisements.
None! I'm always surprised when people say they see tons of ads. We have lots of security and blockers on our computer. I wonder what the site would look like without it!!
I have the pen one too, along with an LG TV ad.
the volume on my computer is always muted, so I don't have to worry about the obnoxious noise. :)
