JFF: Smells While Pregnant

So, When I was pregnant with my first 2 girls, I used to love the smell of foods, they would just give me a comforting feeling. When Im not prego also, you know when you walk by a bakery, and smell fresh baked cookies, or something so good, you get this felling.. Ahhh yes…
But no.. Not this time.
This pregnancy is so weird, When I smell foods, I don’t feel any different? It doesn’t do anything for me, it doesn’t “turn me on” I cant think of any other way to put it.. But you what does.. Ok, here it goes..
I went into an Auto Zone a few months back, and I got this feeling all over my body, Like, a happy felling (weird)
Then I went to NAPA and I go the same feeling, I don’t know what the exact smell was, but the store smelled so good to me…
Also, Home depot… As soon as I walked in, same feeling.
So I am walking around getting turned on my auto parts, and home improvement parts..
Also, Gas, permanent markers, cleaning supplies, and things like that. It is so weird, my hubby cleaned the bathroom last night (im still in shock BTW, as I type this lol), and It smelled so good.
This is so strange to me.. I cant eat car parts, I want to feel this way about brownies lol…
(So im clear, im not walking around sniffing cleaning solutions, and permanent markers while pregnant, im just saying that these smells are the ones that trigger my weird pregnancy hormones)
Does anybody else have any weird smell attractions while pregnant, or am I the only 1…

What can I do next?

The smell of fresh oranges did it for me.

I couldn't stand the smell inside the Subway sandwich shop. It made me throw up every time I tried to go into one. Eating their sandwiches also made me throw up. Even if I didn't go in the shop myself.

I couldn’t stand the smell of coffee and pancake batter. Also the smell of my husband's cologne would have me a bit nauseous too. I loved the smell of bacon, hell, I still do!

Is there any possibility you could be suffering from a nutritional deficiency?

I don't have an answer... but your post is totally cracking me up!! Thanks. :-)

(Although, come to think of it, when I was a little kid I really liked the smell of gas stations. So I kind of know what you're talking about.)

Not the only one!! I work in a flexographic printing facility, so it smells Strongly of acetate (think fingernail polish remover). When pregnant with my son, I could't wait to get to work, because it just smelled SO GOOD! lol I also enjoyed the smell of warm paper fresh off the printer in the office.
