***** If you feel uncomfortable reading about bathroom #2 things, please don't read***
Last night I saw "How I met your mother" on of my favorite shows btw, and one of the guys couldn't go #2 in his office. It was so bad that at one point he even rent a close by hotel room so he could go, lol.
I was laughing about the poor guy because it so happen to us too.
I remember that when my husband and I were dating, I wouldn't go #2 in his bathroom or mine for a while, and the first time it HAD to happen it was so acuward and beg to nothing happen (smell, noise, little toilet paper, or that everything would go at first try, lol.)
I now feel comfortable, I think sometimes he wishes I still not, (lol) but he still doesn't feel comfortable outside home, unless is a must.
Example.
-We need to go home soon.
-We haven't finish
-I know, but I need to go "Sorry"
-Come on! are you serious?
-Please...
-Come on, just go, no body cares
-I do
-You care other people know what are you doing in there?
-Is not that I just don't feel comfortable
-Then don't make eye contact, lol.
-You are not funny, have you ever feel uncomfortable
- Nope, never. (he knows I did)
-You are a lier, fine I go.

Did any of you felt like that too at one point or we are the weird ones?

What can I do next?

:-) This question is so funny. I don't care, I will poop anywhere!! A couple of sheets of toilet paper floating in the loo stops the noise and the splash. hahahahaha I work with all guys and honestly I could do the biggest, stinkiest poop ever and I still wouldn't get the blame!! hahaha

Well, since I'm white, this is what WE do....

BAHAWAHA!

Sorry, just kidding!

Well, guys have to go into a stall in the men's room, where they would normally just pee right out there in the open, so if there are any other guys in the bathrrom at the time, they all KNOW your husband's gonna take a dump! I mean, I think that's the way he's looking at it. Whereas WE go into a stall no matter WHAT we're doin'.

Does this help?

:)

If I gotta go, I gotta go. I can't hold it. It makes my stomach hurt. I figure I'm probably never going to see that lady from WalMart again, but if I do..who cares? Chances are she poops too! LOL!

LOL!! When we first started dating and weren't living together, I never went #2 at his place. When we moved in together after 4 months of dating, I didn't really care, because I worked from home and he worked away from home. To this day, I've pretty much regulated and take care of my 'morning constitution' either before he wakes up (he sleeps with a fan on, so no worry about hearing any embarrassing sounds), or just after he leaves for work... not that I'd care if he knew what I was doing because we're comfortable like that. We'll joke that we have to get some reading done at the office, HAHA!! The ONLY time I was mortified and felt sooo bad about it was when we both had a stomach bug... his was coming up and out, mine was going DOWN and out... and we only have 1 bathroom. I felt awful that we had to take turns in the bathroom, but the poor guy had to put his face anywhere near the toilet after I'd been in there!! Did NOT help his upset stomach. Any other time though, it's pretty easy to blame any kind of stink on the kids, LOL!!

Haha--we used to joke that my hubby loves to try out NEW places for #2. ("I haven't gone at THIS Lowes yet....")

I used to be way more choosy (and still am if the place is a nightmare) but with age and wisdom comes practice of the theory: when you gotta go, you gotta go!

Im very into health and nutrition so sometimes the discussion of poop is important. My husband has family who have had colon cancer so sometimes i ask him questions concerning his bowel movements like frequency and length, ease of letting go and shape.

LOL

I know it seems weird but in the business i was in discussing this with strangers was an everyday thing it took a while to get used to, but the knowledge on our poop is a telling one. #2 is a very telling factor of our health.

Other than that we do not allow each other to witness, in any way, this act. We lock the door, turn on the fan and give ample warnings about a bathroom being "off limits" for a bit

My husband hates to at work or out in public. He has said the same things to me many, many times. There was even one time we had just walked into a store and he looked at me and said sorry but we need to go home. I looked at him like he had lost his mind. I told him he could go home but I was going to stay right there and do my shopping. He didn't believe me at first til he saw me grab a cart and take off. He went home did his business and came back.
I laughed about it now. At the time I wasn't too happy that he tried to get me to leave.
Now since we live further away from shopping areas I would tell him he could suck it up and use the public bathroom.
In our house though that is the only time the bathroom doors get closed. I know gross to some people but that is how we are here.

It's not weird. But as you get older and wiser there are a lot of "embarrassing" things that you just give in to.

My college roommate and I once took a trip to Walmart to go #2 in Acapulco, Mexico on spring break because there were too many people hanging out in our hotel room! She is one of those people like your husband, can't do it if there are other people nearby.

I used to be that way to an extent, but really, it's not worth making yourself sick over, which is what happens when you hold it in. Or worse, you could have an accident, or a really stinky fart, LOL!

One of my husband's friends poops whenever and wherever. It can be at a party, and he'll be in the bathroom forever. You just know that he's going #2, but no doubt remains after he comes out and announces it to the world. He's even posted it on facebook. I know, gross.

Bottom line, everybody poops. It's a fact of life. It might be slightly embarrassing, but that's what air freshener is for. Just pray you don't clog the toilet!!!

I have a friend who would go down the street to the GAS STATION if her boyfriend was over. I never understood that. I told her that if a guy expected to think I didn't poop, he wasn't gonna work out.

That said, there are places where I CAN go but don't like to...and will wait until I am home, if I can. If you can't relax....well, enough said...

My husband is like that - we can't leave the house until he finishes what he has to do. My college roommate found an isolated bathroom in a new building, and that's where she would go so she didn't have to be in the communal bathroom in the dorm.

I carry those Cottonelle wipes in the little packets in my purse - no problem if there's little toilet paper. You can carry a small air freshener if you want but be aware that some people don't react well to sprays.

And yeah, we all have to discuss this sometimes!

When I first started living with my husband I had a real issue with going number 2 around him. I don't know why! We lived in this small one bedroom apartment and I would flush the toilet WHILE I was going to the bathroom so he couldn't hear anything.
Then, one night, we went out to a mongolian grill and it did NOT sit well with me. I was in the bathroom all night long making a racket....and flushing the whole time! lol I came out towards the end and he just shook his head and asked me why I kept flushing the toilet since he could hear everything?! I was mortified...but now I have no issues!
When I went to Mexico I was a bit embarassed around my husband's family and they told me that whatever happens in the bathroom can not be heard...even if it CAN be...it really can't. That's just the polite thing to do.
Haha!

My hubby doesn't mind... but I definitely prefer to do it at home. lol. If I have to go in public, I generally wait until there isn't really anyone else in the bathroom. If that's not possible, then I just try to poop as *quietly* as possible. lol.

I used to be very self conscious about where I did the dirty (lol) and then I went to college....lived in a dorm with communal bathrooms! At first, I tried to hold it until the middle of the night when I thought there would be less people in the bathroom but that didn't always work! So I just got used to going where I was when I had to go. My husband used to laugh at me when we were dating because I would go to the bathroom and do number 2 and be out in a very short time and would make no noise. He always wanted to know how that was possible....my answer was that because I didn't hold it in, I was plugged up and so it was easy to go!

I only do #2 at home or at my parents(my 2nd home!). Unless it's an extreme emergency such as medicine or illness and I HAVE to go right now! When I was with my daughter's father (long distance relationship)and we would travel I would have to wait until I was back home! When he came to my place I would have to wait until he went out golfing and I knew I had time! My first boyfriend in college asked me one time if i ever pooped. LOL I think you are quite normal!

I think I am your husband's long lost twin sister.

I must be at home. I have been known to leave the office on lunch hour and drive 15/20 minutes home to take care of "things".

My son is the same way - since grade school and even now in high school.

I dunno' my Aunt says we are the weird ones.

LOL
