Jff-do You Dance When You Eat?

So my husband just bought home some cupcakes. I gave one to my son and one to my daughter and went in the other room. I said to my husband, 'I bet you they're in there dancing.' Sure enough, they're in there doing a little jig peeling wrapping off the cupcake, squealing with delight.

I do it myself sometimes when I'm eating something that's particularly good. Never a full on dance, just like a shimmy or two-step while saying to myself, 'This is gonna be delicious!"

Do you dance when you eat?

What can I do next?

I sing. More like hum or moan a soulful, hymn like tune. Sometimes I put something in my mouth and a noise comes out of me directly mirroring what I'm feeling - like a chorus of angels singing acapella - ahAHahAHahhhh

Ohh, but we do a popcorn dance! WHenever I make popcorn for the kids we all jump and dance around hopping in the kitchen to the rythym of the popcron.

Well, yes, I def do a little wiggle, if standing, and if in my own kitchen, if it's something especially yummy. My kids tend to swing their feet, Happy Feet.

Eating good things is one of life's great pleasures, why not celebrate it?!

Sometimes when I eat gooey caramel desserts, or cakes or cookies fresh from the oven, I make almost embarrassing moaning sounds with eyes closed.. :))
Guess its ok to do it at home, but I remember doing it once, without thinking, at work 6 yrs back. After a moment, I opened my eyes, and saw 4 of my cubicle-mates staring at me. It was all I could do to not choke on such a delicious bite! :))

This is a cute post.

My kids do that.
Me, not so much.
I am mostly in a mad rush when I am eating or downing 3 cups of coffee on the fly. I know, not the ideal way to eat.
LOL

haha, so sweet! I got a really cute mental picture!

My kids do a fist pump in the air and say "YESSS!" when I say yes to letting them have a treat.

I don't do a dance, but I get situated in my fuzzy slippers on the couch in front of the TV, a show I love, and enjoy something absolutely yummy now & then.

No I don't, but you did put a smile on my face. That is such a cute and precious story. My family doesn't do that either. I guess we're just not dancers. We're more like melters. We just sink down and melt when we eat something really good. Our dog dances and smiles. You should see how he carries on. First he'll actually tap his feet as fast as he can, then he'll stand up on his hind legs and try to clumsly walk around. It's soooooo funny, because he just doesn't look like the dancing type. His body is rather awkward looking.....long thick legs, heavy beagle body, a tail that's way too big for the dog, and a little tiny face.
