JFF - Afternoon Silliness

A coworker of mine jokingly told me he could be a voluptuous blonde trophy wife/girlfriend complete with a ready, vapid smile, bubbly chatter and fake boobies. He figures it’s a small price to pay for a life of leisure and comfort. As his reasoning goes when the first husband dies, you can just move on to the next since the eyesight of your target husband market is not what it used to be. Thus, as you age while maintaining yourself according to your aspirations, it should all work out for you. I figure if I came back as an irresponsible, selfish airhead with few ambitions and an allergy to self respect, I vote on being a groupie for Eddie Vedder. Any other votes/options?

If self respect were no issue, I'd come back as a trophy wife too. I'd love to travel the world on my husbands yacht and take month long vacations to the Riviera.

I would also get a kick out of being a world wide vagabond, travelling around aimlessly, staying in hostiles all over Europe and the Middle East. I'd love to end up that eccentric aunt that never married or had children but has fascinating stories about exotic places and torrid love affairs from her past.

Another fantasy life for me would be celebrity chef. I can't think of a better high than making people happy with my food and getting applause for it!

he's a man....of course, that was his viewpoint!

I prefer yours! Especially your "allergy to self respect" comment....

My husband and I enjoyed our lives overseas as expats. He worked hard, it's true, and I did a lot of volunteer work. But my work was also fun, and I was very close with the people I worked with. He saw that fun, since I talked about it all the time, and he said that in our next life, he wants to come back as an expat trailing spouse and have the fun I had.

How's that!
