I have a friend who has a child about my son's age. My son goes and sits on my friend's knee and is happy with my friend. But when my friend's child comes over to me and I sit her on my knee he gets very angry and tries to come over and sits on my other knee and tries to push her off. Is this a phase? He doesn't mind sitting with her and he is with my friend but he's not willing to share when it comes to me

What can I do next?

I have to agree with Felinestroller

The other day you asked about kids bouncing on knees.

Now you're asking about kids sitting on knees.

And about rubbing a child's tummy ... what is considered "normal" each time.

What's with the sitting on knees?

Sorry if this is legit ... it just seems off to me.

If he's 18, you have a problem.

If he's young, sounds normal to me.

How old is your child? I've seen this happen with toddlers and preschoolers. The reason for doing it is not wanting to share mommy. He's jealouse seeing you pay attention to the other child. Normal at this age. If he's over 6, i'd ask him why he does this?
