Hi! I'd like to refer you to Inger Myhre. She is a mom, does hair out of her home, and comes HIGHLY recommended. You can email her at ____@____.com or call ###-###-####. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere, she does great, careful work.
I want to get my hair straightened, but haven't had it done in the Austin Area before. Does anyone have any recomendations?

I get my hair straightened but it's called Chi, not Yuko. I can refer you to my hairdresser - Monica Manzanilla. Takes about 3 hours (give or take on the length of hair) but I have done it twice in the last 2 years...a must! She is now at Rivas but you can get her number on this website (where she used to work) - www.kentofeurope.com
Hey everyone! I don't know if you have heard about this place called Baldwin Beauty School at Burnett & 183. I took my nephew there to get his haircut for five dollars! But the awesome thing was that although I would not get my haircut there, they will wash and blow dry your hair for 3 dollars!!! My hair is so thick it is a nightmare, you should check on it, I bet they do straightning there, at that price you could take your daughters to get their hair done, they also do pedicures there. If they don't do it there, definetly Visible Changes at Highland Mall and Barton. I have been going there eighteen years, and they have never messed up my hair. So check it out and let me know.

As a former hairstylist,(now a SAHM =)I would highly recommend going to Jackson Ruiz downtown(www.jacksonruiz.com), and ask for Melissa. They offer Japanese straightening, and she does a fantastic job.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thanks,
R.
I'm not sure if he does what you are needing, but a great person is Sammy at Samuel-Rey on Anderson Lane.
