I took a photo of the raffle basket. I want to post it to a person's website.I thought i could do that by tagging them, but either i do't know how to tag or I"m missing something.

so i took the photo on my phone uploaded it to my page, made the photo public, thought i tagged the person, but i doesn't show on persons page. i hpe that explains it, any advice?

What can I do next?

it's possible that the person you tagged does not allow tagging.

I would send them a message to the person and let them know what you are trying to do.

No one is able to tag me in a photo or put anything on my wall until I approve it first. It's possible your friend hasn't approved it yet.

Go to FB, click on their name, and post it on their wall. Should show up, unless they have their settings requiring that they approve all pics before they post. In that case, it'll post when they approve it.

You should be able to "share" the photo with them, or post it to their wall. If you can't do that then just ask them if you can email them the picture and have them post it to FB themselves.

post it to their message board instead. sHe might have limitations on her timeline preventing it from showing.

Go to the photo on your own wall, click on your name to get there.

Once you click on the photo you can see the word "share" on the bottom or on top of the comment area.

Click on share, then when the box pops up you can click on the box next to the word "post". Where you clicked to make the post "public'.

Go down that list until you see "custom".

When the box comes up click on the down arrow by "These People and Lists" Go down to "Specific People or Lists". Start typing this person's name in the box right under there and their name should come up if you're friends. Then click save changes".

This box will go away and you'll have your previous post in front of you but it's only addressed to this one person. Just be sure next time you share anything that you change this or it will only go to this person again.

Also you said you made the post public, that's not something I would want anything of mine to be. Posting it public makes it see-able by anyone who types in your name to search for anyone named your name or close to your name.

If you clicked on the tagging option in the picture and added her name it is on her wall but not visible for others to see, it's to her only.
