Thankfully, no! My first son's first word was moon. Thank the lord I did not push out a planet for my second child!!!!
Have no clue, my girl's first word was "cracker", is my second going to be a parrot? Lord, I hope not, my daughter talks enough as is, I don't really need a mini mimic. :).
Good luck.
Yes, totally true. It's just plain physics.
Without a doubt with 100% certainty
What if your baby's first word was "duck".... will I lay an egg?
Yes, it has been scientifically proven.
(sorry, couldn't resist)
My sons first word was platoon. Think about it.
It's Saturday night Ladies and Gents, let the games begin.
No, it's an old wives tale!
K. B
mom to 5 including triplets
My third son's first words were thank you, the other three mama. Boy girl boy girl so I am going with a big fat no on this one.
Are you are troll? I mean you ask rather daft questions and have never answered anyone else's questions. :(
Okay never mind you are a troll. Your son was three in January, two in February and now he is six months. Then again perhaps if he can go back in time he can predict gender!
Each child is an an independent event, what the prior child said first has no influence on the next one.
I've never heard this one! lol
All of my DAUGHTER'S first words were mama.....so no, not true!
My son's first word was fish. Happily, we are one and done.
Our son's first word was dada and we had a girl next...so not true! (Her first word was mama! Yay!)
My sons was "geico" but as far as mommy and daddy he said dada first and I had a girl next so no it's not
i'm not 100% sure if this is true or not. I have actually never heard of that... But i think that a baby's first word is more caused or influenced by the word or words they hear most often. If it's "mama" says mama over and over the baby may say mama first. but those aren't the only two words a baby might say as their "first word" some say "up", or "no", or so forth..
Gosh what if their first word is truck then what do you get?
Both of my boys first word was Da-da, cuz I always made a big deal when he would come in from work.
Not true... Boy, there are sure some silly thoughts out there.
Well, either way you have a 50/50 chance of a girl or boy :)
