This is going to sound really odd and I was wondering if any other moms have felt this. For the last few days I have felt like I have a baby moving in me. It has to be gas because I have taken numerous pregnancy tests over the past few months and have been having periods. They have been lighter than they used to be, but I've still been having them regularly so the chances I'm pregnant are REALLY slim. However, I have had two kids and so I know what it feels like to have a baby moving around and I have never felt this at any other time. It does not feel like gas but it has to be, right? I mean, I'd have to be at least three if not four months pregnant to be feeling a baby move. It is SO bizarre and I am wigging out. Could it be a tubal pregnancy? Would you ever feel the baby move? I've had no pain or anything. What are the chances I'm pregnant?? Have any other second or third time moms had gas for several days that felt exactly like a baby?
Go get a blood test. Mother's intuition is usually spot on, and this will help you to have one less thing to worry about as you clean up yet another spill on the already dirty floor.
I had the same thing happen when my second boy was about 4 months old. The dr said it was gas, or just my insides moving around a bit. Not a biggy, it is the creepiest feeling ever though. It feels just like a baby. When it happen to me I was so freaked out. I could even see my tummy move. Wow. I hope it stops for you. But if you'd feel better maybe you should call the dr. Good Luck
i have seen a show on tlc called "i didnt no i was pregnant" and a lot of the woman on there have the same symptoms saying they got their periods and thought they had some crazy gas, they also took countless tests that came back neg, no sickness or anything else, most didnt even gain weight so on the off chance that you may be, you probably need to go see a dr JUST IN CASE, what could that hurt right?

Reassure yourself by seeing yor doctor to be certain what is going on.
Rest assured if this were a tubal pregnancy, you wouldn't get very far into it without pain, not far anough to feel a baby move. Your tube would rupture long before that point. I experienced similar sensations after having had either one or two of my babies, so it does happen. I know it was gas, not sure why it felt so distinctly like a baby! It only happened off and on for a few months. Since that time, I've never experienced it again. Strange feeling, but normal!
Ditto here! I've had the same exact thing and it does feel exactly like a baby. I have only one son who is a year old, but I remember when I was waiting to feel him move for the first time, I was worried I wasn't feeling him yet when I'd actually been feeling him for some time - but just assumed it was gas. Now that I'm not pregnant anymore, I have twinges of gas (or whatever!) that I think feel EXACTLY like a baby! So go figure. Just another crazy aspect of being a woman!
I'ts unlikely that you're 16-20 wks pregnant with a negative pregnancy test. I've had gas that reminded me of fetal movement before. I think that's all it is. It's kind of a nice reminder of what it felt like, isn't it?
I get that all the time. Sometimes I have to even think about when my last period was just to be sure.
R., I would just go to the doctor and have blood work done to see what they can figure out. I don't think it could be a tubal pregnancy because I have had one and you don't feel any movement in the womb.
I was 16 weeks when I founfd out I was preggo....go to the doc! I never showed on pregnancy tests, which is what took so long to solve the mystery, A quick ultrasound will clear things up! They did for me!
I would say check with your doc for peace of mind. Although my best friend had a kid and did not know she was pregnant the whole time! It was crazy. She started feeling "cramps" went to the emergancy room, found out they were really contractions....and she was having the baby right then. Its very very rare though. She kind of went through the same thing. You may want to check things out just to be on the safe side. p.s. amazingly her child had no side effects for the record, was perfectly healthy
I have also had the same sensation. I was definitely noy pregnant at the time and after two children can agree with the baby moving feeling. I'll be interested to hear what it actually is.
Ditto what everyone else said, it's happened and still happens to me all the time and no babies. Even my 80-year old grandmother said she still feels the sensations of a baby moving around! She said it's something you never forget.

I've had this for about 2 years . . . so it's obviously not a baby for me! I've figured out that for me it's muscle spasms caused by certain foods I eat. If I lay off of MSG, caffiene, High-fructose Corn Syrup, I don't feel it at all. I know it has somewhat to do with the muscle issues I'm in the middle of being diagnosied with, but I have also talked to other moms who have said that they've realized that stimulants in foods do the same thing to them (they also thought they were preggers). Just a thought!

I have been going through the same exact thing the last few months. I have been feeling baby type movments for atleast two months. However I had an IUD put in on Wednesday and my DR did not have anything to report. I have also had regular periods except this month I started a week early. I also had some blood work done I have not gotten the reults back yet. I am not sure what it is but it does definately freak me out too. I am a mother of two also. I was using the Nuva Ring for the last two years. So I couldn't imagine that I was pregnant. I hope this helps you.
I remember being in the hospital holding my newly born baby and getting that sensation. I put my hand on my belly, and then realized, no, he is out here now. It was the strangest feeling, and I still randomly get it. If yours is more consistent, it can't hurt to get tested. Pregnancy tests show whether there is HCG in your system or not, which is constantly rising as you progress through your pregnancy, but for some reason, some people constantly get false negatives. It is rare, but it can happen, so why not know for sure with a simple blood test. Good luck, and let us know!

I know for a fact a tubal pregnancy would not get that far. Once the baby got too big for the tube, it would burst and cause severe pain. I still get that sensation though. Its incredibly odd, I've even been sitting on the couch and it feels like a hard kick and I can even see my stomach jump! I've been told its the uterus still shrinking ?? among gas. Also someone told me it might caused by my iud. I still think its weird! I would say go to the Dr and take a blood test to accurately diagnose a pregnancy, even just for peace of mind. And maybe till you do go, don't drink or anything crazy :) good luck!

Funny how many women have had that, I've totally felt that too and thought it was just me. However, I think you don't feel the baby move generally till at least 4 or 5 months. But it is a weird feeling -- and no, I was not pregnant!
If I recall correctly, the hormone that triggers a positive response on a home pregnancy test peaks very early on. This being said, tests taken later are no longer accurate. I would definitely have a blood test to be sure as it does happen to women sometimes. Just as another mom said, they have a whole show on it and you sound just like the ladies on there.

I have actually had this feeling. The first time I felt it, only after having two kids, I was completely freaked out. It wa gas. However, I had my doctor double check that I was not pregnant last week. I would reccommend you have your doctor check for peace of mind.
