I don't have an iPhone, it's an Android. But I recently got an app called Grocery iQ. Just looked it up and it's available for the iPhone as well. I haven't gotten into using it a whole lot yet, but it's a very detailed grocery list app. You can scan bar codes & it will add the item to your list. It puts items in categories (i.e. beverages, dairy, etc.), and you can add items to lists for specific stores (and add in the price, aisle it's on, etc.).
Haven't had time to use it much & setup stuff, but seems it would be helpful once it's setup!
Was about to also suggest Google Shopper, but looks like they don't offer it for the iPhone. Maybe later?? lol It scans book, CD, & DVD covers as well as barcodes to look up info.
And of course, games :)
Dragon Dictation to dictate a message that can then be sent by text
FlightTrack to track airline flights when traveling
Words With Friends; The Weather Channel; Stanza for ebook reading; Have To Eat; Have To Pee;
Peekaboo Barn for my 17 month old. It's a "toy" I always have on hand. And I love GroceryIQ. You can scan the barcode on your lotion (or any product) and it puts it in your grocery list. I scan everything when we run out before I throw the pac away so I don't forget to buy more.
Facebook and Words with friends
Facebook and Words with Friends, plus Urban Spoon and the Weather Channel.
Red Laser (it scans bar codes of any product and tells you where you can buy it the cheapest - super handy for larger purchases!), Mixologist (a bartender app, LOL), and Urban Spoon (finds good restaurants close to your current location).
If you run I would check out runkeeper lite. there is a pay one and a free one. It uses the GPS in your phone to show your running. It tracks miles and speed. Its great if you enjoy running or walking outside!!!

I use Facebook , Yahoo im,
My 15 yr old uses a ton of apps. She has one download for a graphic calculator ($5) she used in honors algebra vs me buying the calculator at $135.
I'll check with her when she gets back from pool and see which one she likes best and can't live without.
urbanspoon is a good one. Has reviews for restaurants and if you know what kind of food you want it can help you find a place.
As a busy mom and busness owner, I find I need apps to keep me organized (and keep my brain "plugged in!!") LOL! the two apps I can't live without are ToDo and Grocery Gadget. ToDo is a very advanced to do list with all the uber cool tweaks I love- like making categories, settng alerts, moving and rescheduling tasks, and more. Grocery Gadget is AWESOME for the budget conscious shopper in the home. You can completely customize this app: add prices and pictures to each item, shop by store, category, etc, It let's you see how much money is in your list before you even get to the store!
These two apps are such time and life savers that they are my top 2. For relaxing and music, I love Pandora!!
Hubble: Connecting the Family app is a must have for my family. It's a private way way of keeping everyone on the same page. You can store and share photos as well as leave voice messages just for your immediate family. www.HubbleLabs.com
