Have you ever been to Wolcott Mills farm? Admission is free, and there are cows, chickens horses etc. to go visit. They do occasionally have events that require a small fee (like an Easter egg hunt). It is a Metropark, so you probably can look it up on the internet. (I want to say it is at 26 mile road?)

Have you looked at your local library? I know Chesterfield Twp. library has free events for all ages. You may also want to try a Barnes & Noble or Borders bookstore, as I've seen various things going on there.

Bowling, Kingswood Lanes is always the cheapist, and they have no smoking until 5pm on the weekends.

Wolcott Mill farm which is part of the metro parks has great inexpensive activities. Most are around 2-5 dollars per child. Wollcott is on Wollcot rd south of32 mile maby even south of 31 mile I don't remember. I think kids these days need to do things other than play stations and the trendy things to do.

You can always go swimming! I work at the Fraser High School pool and not only do we offer swim lessons, but we have recreational swim (Open Swim) on Mondays from 7 - 8 pm. Only $2.00 a person and your kids will get TIRED!! I know mine does! Check us out at www.geocities.com/fraseraquatics

I just heard about a bowling alley at I think 13 & harper (I'm sure you could call around) that offers bumper bowling for kids on Saturdays. They charge $7.00.

The Macomb/Clinton Township Library on Romeo Plank is wonderful and completely free. There is a computer room with age appropriate games, train table, playroom, reading room, puppet area. They have a story time, too, but I think you have to sign up for it. Plus, of course lots of books and even videos to check out. We love going there one a month or so. Barnes and Noble and Borders can be fun, too, just to hang out a bit and look at lots of books.
