Does anyone know where I could find indoor swimming lessons for my 3 year old daughter in the Palos or Orland Park area?
The Lifetime Fitness in Orland Park offers swim lessons to non-members. The new session starts in two weeks. I think the registration deadline has passed but they have let me register late in the past. Hope this helps!

Check with your local YMCA. I know ours (Indian Boundary)has tons of classes for all ages. Plus, with they Y you can be certain that the instructors are certified.

My old swim coaches teach swim lessons. You can visit their site to see if it would apply to you. I had my daughter in the program during the summer, and I know their fall season will be starting shortly. The site is www.aquaticsgalore.com.

Try your local high school. Sandburg should offer something. If not Lincoln Way East in Frankfort has year round swim lessons starting at the age of 1 (mom and tot) or they can go by themselves starting at the age of 3. My 3 year old is starting the second session which is in late Oct. The first session is full but the other sessions are still open. It is around $40 a session (6 weeks) Call the Lincoln Way East Aquatic Center for more info!

We have taken our children to the Lifetime Fitness Center Lessons every winter. It is on LaGrange in Orland Park. We are not members, but are still able to sign-up/participate. They have weekday and weekend classes for 9 mos of age and up. They also offer private and group. I think they start up again in January, but just give them a call.
