I am pregnant with twin boys, who are due any day. I am a school teacher and must return to work on April 20th. I need a sitter from April 20th until May 12th. Other than my husband, I have no family around. I have been calling and calling and am getting no where. I live in Huntingdon Valley, Pa, but work in Fairless Hills Bucks County. If you can suggest any names to me that would be greatly appreciated, as I am have difficulty. Thanks

What can I do next?

In my search for babysitters I came across a nanny service that looked promising although I never used them myself-- but may be worth checking out. Their website is http://www.premiernannyservices.com/ and they are based out of Bucks Country (which is why I ended up not using them myself).

I ended up using craig's list. Have you heard of it? The local craig's list for Philadelphia is a place to post ads, sell things, etc. online. You can try that also. It is http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/. There is a special section entitled "childcare". I've found some really great babysitters through that free service.

Best of luck.

S.,
Have you tried Buckschildcare.com or sittercity.com? I am a "MacroNanny" in Doylestown and I care for only two babies at a time in our home. I have some contact with women that provide child care in your area. Please feel free to contact me if you need more help.
Thanks,

S. - did you post on Craigslist? I posted there and got quite a few responses.
Good luck!

There is a great web site, www.buckschildcare.net that is free to use and potential nannies can post their resumes there. Good luck! H.
