Implantation Bleeding or Period Starting? So Confused!!

With my second pregnancy, the day before I could take the test, I started my period. Or so I thought. It was bright red, and lasted for a while. I was surprised to see my pad dry when I went to bed, though. The next day I got a positive pregnancy test.

So it's possible! Especially since you haven't had any more bleeding.

Oh, I also remember that my breasts started hurting really bad and I was wondering what that was about. They only hurt when I'm pregnant (well, besides nursing)

When I was preganant with my first son, I only had a small amount of brown spotting instead of a period. I had always been extremely regular and had never had anything like this.Don't know if this helps or not, but it wasn't bright red, just a very dull brown.

I had something like this happen to me when I was pregnant with my son. When I first got pregnant, before I could confirm it I had the same thing happen to me.I spotted a little and I thought "the rest will be here soon. I guess" But it never came. I was pregnant when that happened. About 3-4 weeks. My period was not even due yet. It was close but not due yet. About 3 days later I bought a pregnany test and I came back pregnant. I had an idea already just because I know my body but the spotting was the most confusing thing I ever had happen to my body. I am very regular and I had already had 2 kids and this never happened before and it still has not happened ever since. My son is now 9 years old. I didn't have implantation bleeding, but many women do Usually it's about 10 days after ovulation/conception.
