A.C.
I would go trail riding with friends and help clean stalls and feed horses. I miss horses so (I used to ride and own a horse for many years before kids).
...spend one whole day without the kids with your husband, what would you do?

If I didn't have to go to work I would go and see the latest Harry Potter in 3-D, go out for luck with a crisp White wine overlooking the ocean, have a bubble bath, and sleep, sleep, sleep.
Naked Stargate :D That is where me and my ex would watch Stargate naked and we would let nature run it's course ;D
Then of course an awesome adult dinner with out wet wipes, spare diapers, and bibs. Then a movie, then some more Naked Stargate. . . or Doctor Who. . .now that's a good one!
Beach with a couple of sisters and a cooler full of beer!
:)
oops, I thought you said withOUT your husband, tehehe, well we can all dream our own dreams, right?!
right now?!?!?! URGH!!! My men are all under my feet right now - I want calgon to take me away!! :)
If I could do ANYTHING without the kids? I would go to Bermuda for an extended weekend....we've both never been there and we both want to go...hubby turns 50 this year...
however, without him being gainfully employed - wellllll....i'd rather use the money in savings to take care of the house payment! thank God we don't have credit cards!! Whew!!
sleep and well, you know!! LOL
Nothing!
and just be a total BUM around the house.
Nothing special, just spend a day like we used to have before kids. A nice day where we might start drinking at noon because we have no where to be. I know that doesn't sound exciting , I just miss having a leisurely day w/ nothing planned & whatever we feel like , we can do / not do.
Have sex, go out for lunch, maybe see a movie...
Go to the beach wit friends (like Theresa N said lol) and go to the gym, maybe go pain-free clothes shopping without worrying about a child, Go to the movies, read a book. So many options lol it would be hard to even decide.
And if I had a husband I'd do some hanky panky everywhere lol and stroll the beach with him. Do things we liked, bike riding or swimming (whatever it is)
I originally thought it said without kids and husband too. Funny how our minds don't read the whole picture sometimes haha.
I would probably spend most of the day in bed with my husband doing very adult things, lol. ;-) Maybe we'd go see a very gory horror movie. And run around the house naked of course. Jk....sort of.
I've actually been wanting to do that for forever - have Grandma take the kids for an entire day, but it's never happened. I'd probably be missing them like crazy by the end of the day, but it would be so much fun to have alone time with my hubby! :-)
Go to breakfast together, sit on the couch together and read the paper in the quiet. Go for a ride to see the 3 Shasta's.(google it) Share a bag of cookies. Laugh at how funny it is that we get up and tell each other we have to go potty..Flip thru the tv stations and criticize all the stupid people on the stupid shows.. and laugh about how we arent much better ,,lol..Pick up all the toys and make it look like grown ups live here. But mostly, wed sit and pout about missing the kids, and grand kid. Wishing theyd stop by.
I'm actually getting a whole weekend next month. I'm going to a food conference with a friend. It should be fun and educational.
BAR HOP :-) w/ a few "dirty deeds" done in the car between bars ;-) then SLEEP it off.
Shop and read. Store after store. Book after book.
Sleep, surf net, spa and have solitude
well being that I am divorced...and a single parent....I would probably go crazy not having my son with me. Honestly, i would be lost not having my son for the whole day. Its definitely not the same. As much as my son can drive me crazy, I wouldn't spend a single minute without him if I didn't have to. Sure an hour to go shopping without him is useful, but still too quite! lol.
The weekends he is with dad...i am a complete wreck. Sure sleeping in is nice, but miss being woken up to "mom, i am hungry can you get up now"...
I now work part time once he turned 3...i work with children and miss him terribly...my son is my world...enough said. a day without him is torture for me!
Go visit my parents and go to a movie and dinner with my Mom.
