I'm going through a stage where I just don't wanna do anything. I am a clean freak and I always keep my house picked up so that's not a problem...but, after that's done, I really don't wanna do anything else but sit. I usually work out or go to the mall or clean my yard or something. But, I don't wanna do anything!

Ever experienced this???

What can I do next?

Yup. The weather usually plays into it.

I get soooo set in my schedule I bore myself. I try to mix things up to make things more interesting.

Are you watching a lot of tv. That will SUCK the energy out of you FAST.

Oh, totally. Motivation is not something I come by easily. I find that giving myself a schedule/routine helps. Or, scheduling things in the morning that I *have* to do make me get up and get jump-started.

That's when I usually sit down at my computer and spend an hour reading posts on Mamapedia. Reeeeeally need to get my butt up and out of this chair and do something!

Seriously, I get like that too. Like right now! Don't wanna, either!!

Yes,I go through this at times. Sometimes it is just boredom but sometimes it is depression. Depression can be caused by something physical such as a Vitamin D deficiency. If it doesn't lift soon, see your Dr.

Ha all the time! I am not a clean freak either so this phase leaves my house less than stellar. I am in it right now and would rather sit on the computer than clean or deal with my DD whining about everything.

I have days like that. I'm a stay at home mom and I figure those are the days I just really need a vacation. Since that's not an option, I just do the minimum those days. I sit on the floor and play with my kids-- I don't do the dishes or check e-mail or pick up. When they nap, I nap or read a book and allow myself a mental health day! I usually feel better the next day - or sometimes it takes two days!

Yep! I'm 32 weeks pregnant with #3 and have literally been in survival mode the entire time! Zero motivation and zero energy to match!

I have felt this way when I'm not pregnant too, and usually something like re-arranging furniture or buying a new rug or towels or something fun for the house or taking a short trip to somewhere local will help me get out of a rut.

Yes! and you know what, I give in to it - for a little while. then I seriously just have to force myself to get back into the groove and after a few days I find my energy has returned:)
Sometimes you do just need a break.

I'm going through it too but I have an idea of where it stems from. For me, it is depressed passion. When I can't channel my passion, I get completely blah. I tend to focus on the wrong things, get more upset, no energy, but actually I'm more anxious.

As a previous poster said, I need a daily plan when I have down time. Otherwise, internet and movies for me.
